I ate here for dinner and my rating can only be based on that menu. That said, I ordered the Vegetarian Risotto - and I cleaned my plate. I don't have a photo to post because it was gone before I could even think to photograph the plate! The kitchen closed a bit early (COVID hours) - otherwise I would have likely re-ordered the meal for a second round! I highly recommend this restaurant.

We ate here for dinner one night. It was very underwhelming. Very limited menu at night, and service wasn't great either. You would think with covid, and limited capacity that service would be outstanding. We won't be back.

Such a ripoff like everything else at this hotel that Marriott claims is a resort. Spent $100 pre-tip for 2 adult meals and a kids meal. And this is only for breakfast!!!! Save your money and go some place else as the food is mediocre and service is only decent. Not worth the price.

You stay @ the Marriott hotel in Vail this is your Breakfast spot.

We were staying at a time share nearby and this was the closest breakfast on a Sunday morning. Breakfast is buffet style (really convenient) and if you've ever eaten at a Marriiott (or any other major hotel chain) then you know what to expect: cold station (cereal, bread, etc.); hot station (scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon in trays); and for extra $, a limited omelette station and self bake waffle station. The food was fine but for $40, do yourself a favor...walk another block and try someplace else.

Stayed at Marriott during 3 day weekend and have had breakfast at First Chair, really like food, even though it's simple: bacon, potatoes, omelettes, waffles, fruits and etc. everything is fresh and tastes good, except coffee, not sure what's the deal with coffee but it's very bad. Personally liked the service and atmosphere, even though should happen here a little often than what it is right now. $25 per person and good tasting food, what else needs for breakfast ?

Even though it was Vail, CO, the price was definitely not in proportion to the quality. While we were ready for something special for New Years Eve, this meal was a real disappointment. The prime rib was cooked nicely, however, the salmon seasonings were mediocre, risotto was on the stiff and sticky side rather than a creamy texture and the chocolate at the dessert chocolate fountain was the most awful tasting chocolate we have had in a very long time and the overall dessert options were very minimal. The entire buffet was lukewarm at best and all that for the special price of $105 per person.

The room was spacious, the service prompt, and a full breakfast with both gluten and dairy free options were provided. You can opt for a quick eat and go before your day or a leisurely sit enjoying the sunshine through the full sized windows. We had a pleasurable brunch.

We stayed at the Marriott for four days and had breakfast at the hotel for three days in a row. Best smoked salmon I have ever had. Excellent food, great selection of fresh fruit and berries. Pleasant atmosphere combined with friendly service made our stay enjoyable.

I am only rating this place based on the breakfast burrito, which, if I weren't traveling on business I would have never ordered (I think it was $30). By far the most amazing breakfast burrito I have ever had. No joke. 5 stars for burrito but taking one off for absurd price that I'm happy to let my company pay. I guess everything in Vail is expensive anyway.

The Marriott rocks ... Great location and top notch service. But ARE YOU KIDDING about the food? The restaurants, pub, and room service food is really barely edible. I stayed here when having knee surgery and so was rather a captive audience, so I got to sample it all, and really, it is so bad it is actually insulting. I have never written such a stripy review, but Marriott, you really should have the dignity to do better!

I would avoid this restaurant until the chef can get the daily special right (Ribeye vs Filet). Also service was very slow coming out the kitchen over two hours to eat with only 4 tables in the restaurant occupied. The server was great and tried to make up for the kitchens error by bring out the correct stake, however, it was lacking the toppings that were on the first stake "because they already served it that way." no other options to make up for the error were offered by the management.

First time there, went early so very light crowd. Great Staff. Food was good. really good bar downstairs... music over ran the music from the restaurant as it is an open type environment in the hotel. Hard to find the entrance as it is on the far side of the building and there are no real signs pointing to an entrance if you are coming from the Lionshead area.

The Sunday night we were there, the place was fairly empty but the staff was nonetheless gracious. The food generally was good to very good, with an exceptional specially prepared veggie platter made upon request. Just delicious and artfully arranged. The room is attractive and is a fine option
