We were very disappointed. Friends who had been in the past said “best steaks ever”. Our $145 ribeye was chewy & tasteless and vegetable very raw. Appetizer of buffalo mozzarella had tasteless tomatoes & puree. Staff were attentive & gracious & offered another option but we had lost all interest. They comped us for the steak and hoped to see us again. Flame is in the Four Seasons- they fell far short of their culinary reputation
Great ambiance, Fantastic Food & Service for other Restuarant's to envy! Get the charred crab stuffed avocado, fresh oysters & Sea Bass, and you won't be disappointed
Kelly was our server. Excellent service! We went right before the fireworks. Chicken was overcooked but they quickly corrected it with a delicious trout. I recommend the sea-bass. Delicious. Price points are normal for the area being Vail Village. Very quiet intimate dining room.
Overpriced because of its Four Seasons location. The menu is limited and nice touches they used to do, like a table side caesar salad, are no longer available. All is not lost, they do make a great martini.
We were hoping for a memorable steak dinner. While the ambiance was pleasant and our waiter provided excellent service, the menu had limited choices, and the porterhouse we ordered was overcooked. Given the high price, we felt a salad and dessert should have been included. Overall, the meal was decent but not worth the cost.
Loved the open, relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. It presaged the care and attention to detail that would be given to the meal. From the Tasting Plates, we selected Salmorejo Burrata and Portuguese Bacalao Potato Cakes SS. The potato cakes, which are actually balls, played a lively melody on the palate. By accident, and not design, the Salmorejo Burrata proved a great segu to the Colorado Trout, the signature dish. Our side dish of Sauteed Broccolini was cooked to perfection. For us, the preparation of the Caesar Salad was novel: a sardine topped the lettuce which was on a bed of hollandaise sauce dressed with plum tomatoes and croutons. It worked; as did the Spiced Chocolate Ice Cream dessert!
The Flame delivers on its promise of a delightful culinary experience. With its inviting ambiance, top-notch service, and innovative yet comforting cuisine, it's a restaurant that leaves a lasting impression. I highly recommend giving it a try, whether you're a local or just passing through Vail.

We decided to have Easter Brunch at Flame and it was incredible! The service was amazing and I was blown away by the buffet. The food was incredible - and maybe the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. ALL the staff that we encountered at the Hotel could not have been nicer. Thank you for a special day!

High end restaurant with solid food. For obvious reason the prices were high but didn’t feel like the food or drink quality quite matched the price. Fun place for a fancy night out in vail.

The BEST brunch buffet in all of Vail! Everything we tried was AMAZING: perfectly cooked chilaquiles, a wide array of wild game sausages and salamis, delicious berry smoothies, the OMG haute chocolate with homemade marshmallows, crispy Brussels sprouts, the juiciest bourbon glazed ham, west and east coast oysters (not fishy in the least, desserts, eggs to order, hash browns, a make your own Bloody Mary bar, innovative cocktails, live entertainment... we will DEFINITELY be back!!
The food could improve to be exceptional.

This is the first time we've eaten at Flame, and we feel it is a hidden gem. The food was exquisite, the wait staff was very professional, attentive and courteous. The ambiance wonderful. We really appreciated the low noise level (when many restaurants are so very loud that it is hard to hear conversations). The decor was wonderful and white tablecloths lent a luxurious but not overly formal atmosphere. Also appreciated that the tables were not too close to each other, as in many places in Vail. We will definitely dine there on our next visit to Vail and recommend it to others. Definitely a much better experience than some of the top ranked restaurants in the village. And we've been to most of them.
We ordered the porter house it was amazing. I freely admit I am a steak snob. This restaurant did not disappoint. Hands down the best restaurant we have eaten at. My son liked the chairs. Supper comfortable and plenty of room in the restaurant. We did not feel like we were packed in there
