I was there today 30 mins before closing time, the person behind the counter hid under the cashier then popped up 10 seconds after I stood still waiting for them to get my order, I proceeded to be nice and say hi when I got an extremely rude “ wait a few minutes “ from her and her being visibly annoyed I was there, i wasn’t sure if it was racism (I’m a hijab) or plain rudeness, so I walked right back out.. absolutely terrible experience, the employee was extremely rude and unprofessional and should not be working in a position facing and interacting with people especially since this is a tourism spot, I don’t have her name but she was medium to chubby build brown haired girl,

Racism Discriminatory Treatment.
I had a deeply disappointing experience at the Häagen-Dazs located at 200 Vail Road, Vail, CO 81657 on September 2, 2024, around 3:46 PM. I was served by a staff member named Martadin, a white male in his mid-20s with blonde hair, who appeared to be of European descent.

When I requested ice cream samples, Martadin gave me only one sample and claimed that was all they could offer. In contrast, he provided multiple samples to my friends, who are non-Asian. As the only Asian person in our group, this differential treatment felt discriminatory and hurtful.

This incident was not only upsetting but also contrary to the inclusive values one would expect from a reputable brand like Häagen-Dazs. I hope this issue is addressed to prevent such behavior in the future.

I went to Rimini and 2 scoops for $11 crazy, I know it’s a ski resort but then I went to Haagen dazs $7 for 2 scoops love it , great portions. Love that the staff are bilingual.

My kids love this place! Ok.... and so do the parents :) entering the store we felt very welcomed by the staff. They were super helpful accommodating my 2 year olds requests... even I can barely keep up with them myself! Ice cream and sorbet was delicious.

Best Ice Cream in Vail and probably the best prices also. Friendly staff were very welcoming they gave my kids a side of MnMs to put on their ice cream which made my kids very happy. Will definitely be coming back.

Vegetarian options: It's ice cream, I don't think there is any meat in ice cream??

TERRIBLE SERVICE.

We jumped through hoops to get there before closing time and got there with 20 minutes to spare.

The person behind the counter was visibly upset when he saw us walk in. While serving other customers, he kept bullying his co-worker (who was a really nice guy). He yelled at my group, "what do you want" we told him we were still deciding and he walked away. Then he came back to serve my ice cream; (the other attendant had served the rest of my group), he threw/slid the cup at me. I let it go so I would not ruin the night for my group.

About 20 minutes after we walked (still within the posted closing time, another couple walked in and the same employee and the guy got into a shouting match; the customer won and in two languages.

This person, blonde short hair, stocky, medium height should be in the service industry. He would not give me his name so I am forced to use description .

The most expensive ice cream and not worth it. I took my kids there and get 3 one flavor small cone ice-cream. I paid $21.00. I think that’s pretty expensive.

Really nice little store a minute walk from Lionshead Gondala. Ice cream is great. Really nice staff. And surprisingly, really good prices especially for a ice cream shop in a ski town. Good spot!
