Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Yes it’s very small inside and probably can get packed, but the sandwich was very good and service was quick for me!

Holy cow what fresh, delicious sandwiches. We had Dominici's hot Italian and it was fabulous! A hidden gem at Vail but a must dine place. We will be back!

Really good sandwich spot! Feels like a deli inside but they have a wide selector of sandwiches, crepes, and ice cream. Kind of expensive for a sandwich but that’s to be expected. I got the Rosemary Chicken Sandwich and it was amazing! We also like the Roasted Turkey a lot too. Very filling and I’d come back to try one of their savory crepes.

They’ve changed the type of ice cream, but it’s tasty.
We had raspberry cheesecake ice cream waffle cones that we both thought was the best ice cream we had ever had. We went back the following night at 8:30 on a Sunday evening for a sandwich and were told they couldn’t make us a sandwich because they were going to start closing at 8:30 in Sunday’s , Eventhough there were about 10 people ordering ice cream and sitting at tables. We were so disappointed as we had skipped several other places to walk all the way from lions head to get a sandwich before there 9:00 closing time. So we just got ice cream and walked back to our Airbnb . We thought the location off the street down steps to the basement was neat.

My 3RD time in Vail and just had the worst food experience I've ever had there. In fact, the ONLY, bad food experience. I saw a Philly Cheese steak on the menu and thought awesome! The description was fine. Then I saw the gal cut some kInd of bread that looked like Focaccia, but they had a fresh bread sitting right there. Philly's dont come on Focaccia bread!! I stopped her before she put anything on the bread and asked if she could change it? She says yes, but then as she's turning around I get the head shake and rolled eyes. What? I just overpaid for a sandwich and tipped you 15 percent...and that's the attitude? I would have walked out right then if I hadn't already paid for the food. So, we take the sandwich outside to eat. It was THE worst Philly I've ever had. And I've had many. No seasons at all. Red peppers instead of green (or a mix). The meat wasn't cooked with the peppers or onions. We literally took two bites and through out the entire sandwich...and went to get better food. Very disappointed in the service and the food. Will never go back.

Best birthday cake ice cream ever, sadly their staff seems to close up shop early when posted hours are e.g until 9pm on Sundays, went back at 8:40 and the workers had already closed up shop. Kind of a bummer - if you need to close up early to clean, how about posting the hours as such so people are aware.

For the portions and prices in Vail these were actually pretty good. We split an Italian sub and it filled the both of us up. And their ice cream is darn good as well

No more Belgian waffles, dry cheap English muffins, Philly was so fatty could hardly chew it and prices have increased. Place has gone down hill in the past year. Big Bear Bistro is far superior!

The food is overpriced, the server with very bad attitude, terrible experience. Should have read the reviews first. Feel like I flushed $50.

Low quality food. Save some money and make a sandwich at home.
