Dining at Joy Sushi was, without a doubt, one of the most incredible culinary experiences we’ve had, and not just in Vail, but anywhere. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that made us feel right at home.
The sushi and sashimi were unbelievably fresh—each bite practically melted in our mouths. You could truly taste the quality and care that went into every piece. The rolls were not only beautifully presented but also incredibly creative. The combinations of flavors were thoughtfully crafted and balanced perfectly, and absolutely delicious.
We were especially impressed by how reasonably priced everything was, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients and the location in Vail. It felt like such a hidden gem, just a short drive from our hotel. We were so impressed after our first dinner that we came back again two nights later, and honestly, we would have gone all three nights if we hadn’t made other plans.
Joy Sushi has officially become a must-stop for us whenever we’re in town. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers such a consistent and exceptional experience across the board—from food to service to value. We’re already looking forward to our next weekend trip to Vail, and Joy Sushi will definitely be on the itinerary.

This is a great sushi place! They have two specialty rolls that can easily be made vegan as well as other vegan options. Great service and very accommodating with vegan options! Highly recommend!

Quiet little restaurant, fast service, great customer service. Highly recommend.
The place is small but that can be overlooked if its not full. The food was Okay, I like their buddha roll most. However, I will Never be returning again because the customer service is in the Garbage. I had a waitress Lie about my wrong order as to not take resposibility for correcting it. So i paid double for a wrong order and again for the correct order. No apologt just Lies and they were laughing on my way out. I felt so uncomfortable and disappointed in my date night there

Overall surprisingly good food! You never know what you will get in a ski town, and Joy Sushi was great , we recommended the pepper tuna roll .
