The experience of eating at Joy is incredible, they welcome you with great warmth and the food exceeded my expectations. It's a simple, small place with spectacular food. The people who serve it are the most friendly.

Good food. Great service. It is expensive, but to be expected in Vail. The Vail roll was delish.

Not ideal for solo diners. I arrived before 5pm Sunday, and two four-top tables were open. A man placing a takeout order sat down at one. Strangely, the hostess (owner?) asked me to join him at the table by the door instead of seating me at the one available table. Looking around, no one was waiting for a table and three others looked like they were almost finished. The takeout customer and I looked at eachother confused, but I sat down. A few minutes, I asked my server why they didn't seat me at the still open table. I've dined there before, and this was a first. Her response did not address my question. After a few more minutes, a two-top table became available, and the server asked if I wanted to move, which I did. The sushi was good, but the price doesn't match the dining experience.

Joy Sushi in Vail, Colorado, offers a satisfying sushi experience. The variety of rolls and sashimi showcased fresh ingredients and creative combinations. The ambiance is inviting, providing a comfortable setting for a meal. Service was prompt and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. While it may not be the most expansive sushi menu, Joy Sushi delivers a solid option for those craving quality sushi in Vail. #JoySushiVail #SatisfyingSushiExperience

Tasty sushi for the mountains at a good price (considering it is vail). Love their buddha roll, not often does one find a vegetarian roll that stands up against standard rolls - that it’s one of the best I’ve had for this price point. Yellowtail roll was also solid and tasted fresh (not fishy at all). Vegetarian gyoza also was solid!Interior was on the smaller side but not crowded - granted we were there for lunch on our way out of town.Vegetarian options: Note the buddha roll does utilize eelsauce as a flavor component - as my partner and I aren’t strict we didn’t mind - it adds great depth of flavor. However, keep in mind!

Best sushi I’ve ever had! Restaurant was completely packed and had a line out the door so service was a bit slow understandably, and the miso soup wasn’t great, however the sushi was amazing especially the cowboy roll!
