I asked the hostess if we could be seated at a different table. The owner who was seated at the bar took exception to my request. Then he followed us to the dining room snd loudly pointed at our table snd told the kitchen staff, which could be heard by other diners , that I was a profane word I won't repeat. Beyond that , the pasta was dry and I did mot eat it . Our server did offer to have it remade but after our encounter with the owner I declined. We will not go back.
Lovely meal on the patio! We had the mussels, truffle gnocchi and fish. All tasted wonderful and great ambiance 🩷🍝
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Our pasta was delicious and so was the salad. Service was exceptional. Always a great experience.
Jose was a wonderful server! It was a special night and perfect in every way. I was so excited to take my friends there and they enjoyed it! I have been there many times and am never disappointed. Looking forward to my next visit!!!
We were excited to try this restaurant based on reviews for our last night in town but did not have a good experience. Staff was efficient but brusque and didn't feel welcomed. Waiter seemed preoccupied and while not rude clearly didn't seem to care about us. There was a charge for “homemade artisanal bread” which was only 4 small slices of bread and a bunch of stale breadsticks. Bread was warmed up so first two slices were fresh but the remaining two crispy and not good. We each ordered pasta which was the highlight of the meal - very good! Unfortunately we were seated next to a high top of two men one of whom spoke as tho he were addressing the entire restaurant for the entire time we were there. It was extremely annoying and ruined our entire overall experience. While uncomfortable, you would think the management would've done something about this because it must have bothered others too. Very disappointing - would not make effort to return.
Our server was very knoweldgeable of the menu. The Caesar salad was not very traditional and probably the only thing we tasted that I probably would not order again. We enjoyed the grilled octopus (delicious combo with chimichurri) and the fritto misto (safe appetizer/equally yummy) for appetizers. For our entree's we ordered the linguine with clams (outstanding); tagliatelle with wild gulf shrimp (perfect balance); carbonara (delicious) and finally, the lamb (sauce was outstanding). Service was amazing, wine list excellent choices available. I would be back for sure.
Lackluster service. Waiter was unkempt and not engaged. We had to ask for silverware. Ask for drink menu. We not told about the ravioli of the day.
Excelent menu and food, all was delicious , the selection of wine was amazing , the service was excellent, and the ambiance great, just is the best place in Vail !
Every appetizer and pasta main course were great. Service was professional and welcoming. Definitely will come again in next visit to Vail.
Great salads, great pizza. Unfortunately the online wine list was not represented on the list in the restaurant. So online there were many interesting options but most were unavailable in the restaurant. Nonetheless we had a great wine but not one of the ones on the online list.

Overall, it was good. Our waiter was really cold at first, like someone had just done something awful to him. He hardly made eye contact at first but warned just a tiny bit but we ended up with another waiter who was good. The lump crab with avocado and green goddess dressing was absolutely delicious.
We had warm burrata salad, shrimp pasta, carbonara pasta, and pizza. All of the dishes were perfect!
This restaurants food quality was worse than Olive Garden and had unreasonable prices for everything. Our group got a margarita pizza, carbonara, Gemelli, Arrabbiata, and the duck. The only plate that seemed to be even halfway worth the price was the duck. The sauce on the carbonara was grainy and the pancetta was undercooked. The cheese on the margarita pizza was pretty much solid and the pasta of the other two dishes was over cooked. The wait staff was inattentive and I saw them snap chatting while in view of customers. The cocktails we got were also some the worst drinks I have ever had, especially for $18.
Best italian restaurant in Vail! We were avid LaNonna fans until we went here. The price point is high along with everything else in Vail so no getting around that. But the food is always perfect, the service friendly and the atmosphere unstuffy. Enjoy!
Dinner was very good.we loved being on the terrace ( sun was a bit of a problem for one of my guests and could not be remedied. We tried moving table and chair but didn't help. Maybe a bigger umbrella there? Your staff was wonderful! We had a 1 year old baby with us, and several of the staff were adorable with us and so dear with our little one. It made for a special evening!
