The BEST authentic Mexican food in Vail, Colorado. They are located by the public parking lot on the far east side of vail village. You won’t be disappointed! And prices are very reasonable and affordable!
As soon as we entered the place, was completely ignored. When we asked if we could order separately from the rest of the party, because my young niece was hungry, was told that “.. well, I’m trying to catch up, when you’re all ready you can order” the worst customer service I’ve ever received. As soon as we left telling him how rude he was, started yelling at us in front of all of the customers in the restaurant. Unprofessional, would not recommend.
This is NOT San Diego Mexican. I grew up in SoCal (Oceanside) and the food is not traditionally this bad tasting. The service was good and I liked the chips and salsa, but that's about it. The enchilada sauce tastes like chili sauce (Tex-Mex style more like), and the beans are not good at all. You can always tell the authenticity of the Mexican food by the refried beans and these were trash. I couldn't even bring myself to try the rice. Stick with the chips and salsa only here.
Al pastor tacos (2) were delicious and fairly priced for 3.50 per taco. Nice friendly vibe inside/around the restaurant

Casual place in Vail transportation center. God salsa bar. Great prices, especially by Vail standards, right at the start of the village
Just stopped in for some snacks. Great chips and salsa bar
Place is legit. Good prices, flavorful food, salsa bar, good drinks at a fair price. Really can't be beat, nevertheless in a ski town. Albeit my first time in vail, really hope they don't change.
Love this place in Vail. The best mexican food for the best price.
Food was awesome! Bartender ran a tight ship. Make sure to say hello to Charlie at the end of the bar.

Last time I've been this sick was when I ate on the side of a highway in Colombia. This place was also very dirty. I will be avoiding from now on!
Really good food and amazingly cheap for ANYWHERE. $50 for 2 margaritas, a giant Carne asada burrito, 2 cheese enchiladas a la carte, 2 carne asada tacos with big hunks of guac, all REALLY good. Funky, non-fancy space in the bus stop.
This place was amazing and perfect for before and after skiing. Great food and a responsible price located right in the middle of Vail. Thank you for being only of a few places here that doesn’t over charge tourist and has great quality food.
Came here not expecting much, but my partner wanted to give it a shot.
I was first impressed with the salsa bar. Lots of in house made salsas to choose from- the Habanero and Árbol were tasty, but the Tomatillo was just incredible! The guac is delicious, don’t know what they are adding to that but it has so many flavors.
My partner ordered a bean tostada which he said was on point.
Service was awesome and the dude behind the counter is super cool and friendly.
Be sure to specify no dairy if that’s your jam, because like all traditional Mexican spots, this place will top everything with cheese and sour cream.
We aren’t in Vail all too often, but will def hit this spot again.
Thanks so much!
It’s not as good as I remember but it’s a good spot to chill and get your traditional Mexican fix
