I have been coming to Larkspur since it opened. While I love the food, despite the prices have increased significantly over the past few years, today we had the worst experience. Our 10 year old always orders the grilled cheese and tomato soup from the kids menu and we specifically ordered two kids meals. The waiter insisted we didn't order a kids meal and we had no idea it was the adult meal. When we asked to speak with a manager they refused to credit us back and said well he ate the sandwich! Meanwhile he didn't touch the salad and only finished half the soup. We then waited almost another half hour to have the manager go back and forth and he then said well we took $4 off! It was not about the money, but the principal and disrespect to the customer. Chris should learn how to treat customers! Unfortunately that will be our last time and we would never recommend to anyone again.

From a wedding photographer's perspective, you really can't beat the Larkspur wedding experience! Stunning mountain views all around, an incredibly beautiful and intimate reception space, and can host one heck of a party! We recently photographed a wedding in the fall at peak colors, and WOW! The whole valley was ablaze!

The location is clutch. Located right at the bottom of the slope. The server and hostess are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and attentive. We had the Larkburger with cheese and truffle fries, and the Lobster Rocket club sandwich. The food is high quality, and delicious, but as they continue to increase the prices to the point of being ridiculous, they serve their burger and sandwich on a smaller and smaller roll each year, so that now it is almost impossible to eat it. We love this place regardless.

It was such a great restaurant, Now a shadow of their former self. They are losing their lease and are now mad at the mountain employees who bring them their business. This mountain employee will be looking elsewhere in the future

Now that the wedding festivities have all concluded, welook back and know this venue exceeded our expectations! This is due to the picturesque surroundings, the venue décor and the outstanding service of the entire Larkspur team.The sales and event team, Isabel and Sadie, ensured that all of our needs were met and coordinated to make Heather and Chris’s wedding a flawless event. The food and beverage were exceptional, and the cake was amazing! Our guests said they loved the venue and the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding!A special thanks and shout out to the Larkspur team for making our family’s heritage of three generations married in Eagle county , an endearing event that we will remember the rest of our lives! Anyone looking to do a destination wedding should consider the Larkspur—it was amazing!

We attended a wedding reception here, and the food and staff were amazing! I'm not sure what else would have been available food-wise, but what we had was delicious, including salmon and wagyu steak and a delicious heirloom tomato salad. Truly the staff was the stand-out, though - I would certainly consider this place for an event!
