My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Every time we return to the Left Bank we remark that it's the best meal in the Valley. The staff is wonderfully attentive and so friendly, the atmosphere is one of fine dining, and the food is delicious, from appetizers to desserts. There is not a better French onion soup in town. Their seafood bouillabaisse, we feel, is the best entree in the Valley, and their dessert souffles are a true treat. Though on the high end of pricing, it is definitely worth it, and is still less expensive than other establishments in town we have dined at, though the food is better. If you haven't tried it, don't miss it.
Consistently the best food and service in Vail. The Dover Sole for two is exquisite, and the accompaniments are just as delicious. The peach tart is amazing. This dining experience should not be missed.
Left Bank continues to be a superb restaurant. The food is delectable and the service is great
The Left Bank is consistent. The food is always outstanding. The wine list, while pricey, has some excellent choices and the Sommelier is more than capable of picking deliciously compatible wines with the food you order. I've eaten the Vol au Vent there for years and years and years. Absolutely my favorite dish! Yum yum yum. If only other restaurants could deliver the amazing food visit after visit like the The Left Bank does
Dover sole is divine. Great staff (thanks Andy), very warm and welcoming. Hadn't been there for 30+ years, never fails to impress.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience at The Left Bank—it's a lovely spot for a special occasion with an intimate, upscale atmosphere. The service was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail. As for the food, it was solid but didn't quite reach the level we expected given the price point. We shared the Côte de Boeuf, but in hindsight would have been happier with the filet. The cognac cream sauce (which typically comes with the filet) ended up being our favorite sauce out of the three that came with the meal. Our mistake was not asking the price of the Côte de Boeuf beforehand—we assumed it would be in line with the filet (around $75) per person, but were shocked to see it was $375. All in all, it wasn't the best steak dinner we've had, but it was certainly the most expensive. While we enjoyed the evening, the value just didn't quite match the cost.
Excellent food, service, ambience - if you are in Vail or plan to be in Vail it is one of the best restaurants in the Village. Be sure to book a reservation as the restaurant is extremely popular.
Excellent service, quality of food and presentation are out of this world! Wine selection is of great quality with an emphasis on French varietals.
Wonderful fish presentation and outstanding vegetable accompaniment. Great cocktails and wine selection. Very friendly and efficient staff.
This is the best restaurant in the Rocky Mountains as far as I am concerned. They could easily be a Michelin star if they wanted to pay the fees. Service is always excellent. I think everything is pretty much gluten free.

Actually bummed that we have never dined here before. Premier restaurant with incredible service, food, and ambiance. We had a romantic anniversary dinner and had the best time. Portions were sizable and the split plates they did for us on a few dishes was perfect. 10/10.
