Leonora, located inside The Sebastian Vail boutique hotel, is a gem for anyone seeking exceptional service and delicious cuisine. The staff goes above and beyond to make every dining experience memorable, pairing their warm hospitality with attention to detail. A must-try on the menu is the avocado toast—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Leonora’s inviting ambiance, combined with its standout dishes, makes it a perfect spot for a memorable meal in Vail. Highly recommended!

Cornelius was a fabulous server. We had the special app and the wagyu skirt steak special. Both were unbelievably good!

The waiter from South Africa was a true professional- attentive and charming! Our meal was outstanding. I loved the salad and he suggested adding salmon, which was a fabulous combination. The corn bread was a great starter and the covered and secluded patio was a nice escape from the festival noise happening elsewhere.
Our waiter was so kind and accommodating. I can't remember his name but he was from South Africa. He went out of his way to take care of us. The food was great, the sugar Pearl waffles, Benedict and the Leo skillet was fantastic. I would definitely go back and recommend.
Cornelius was awesome. Professional service through and through. We were outside not under an umbrella with a very light rain starting, they were able to relocate us under an umbrella when the table opened up. The food was excellent. Wife had the risotto and I had the bison and elk pasta. Dirty plates were promptly removed, water was quickly refilled, and Cornelius was on top of the service. I ordered a cognac with desert which didn't come until the check came but overall the experience offset this minor imperfection.
The food was delicious and the waiter was very personable. The chef was able to accommodate my food allergies.

Our recent visit to Leonora was quite the adventure, and I’m thrilled to share how it turned out! We arrived at 9:15 PM, well before the restaurant’s 10 PM closing time, only to be told that they couldn’t seat us. Understandably, this was disappointing. However, when we requested to speak with a manager, the situation took a surprising turn, and suddenly, a table was available for us.
Despite our initial frustration, our server, Lance, truly turned the evening around. His professionalism and dedication were evident as he went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. From his attentive service to his knowledgeable recommendations, Lance made us feel valued and well-cared for.
The food at Leonora was nothing short of exceptional!
Kudos to Lance for rescuing our night and ensuring that we left with nothing but praise for Leonora. Despite the rocky start, the incredible food and stellar service made this an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!

We had an outstanding dinner at Leonora’s tonight. Service was prompt. Presentation of the food was excellent as well. Creativity and taste of each dish was equally good.

Very good food and service. Glad we got out of there before an onslaught of families with kids and strollers who should have gone to a family restaurant. This is fine dining for adults not noisy uncontrolled kids.

One of the best in the state. Every bite was perfect, starting with pork belly on smoked grits with a peach chili jam. We could have made a meal just out of that. But the fried chicken was spectacular as was the elk and bison bolognese. And we finished with a buttermilk chocolate cake. The servers told us they had a new, young chef....this was Iron Chef quality dining in a magnificent restaurant. Entertaining, attentive servers that are attentive but not overbearing. One of my two favorites restaurants in Colorado, magnificent in every detail.
This place was awesome.
Lance had us dialed the whole time. Felt very taken care of. All the apps were amazing and I highly recommend the Lemon Herb Chicken. Place rocks.

We had an unexpected and delightful surprise when we were told the special this evening is Beef Wellington! We split the order and enjoyed a delicious, classically prepared and presented Wellington. So good!! It's not often restaurants offer it, and less often that the chef takes care to include all the layers and bake it to perfection.
We sat outside, which was lovely on a summer night, but the patio itself was probably not as lovely as the interior seating. Also, if you like your salad dressed lightly or with dressing on the side, be sure to inform your server.

This is our second visit and first brunch. It was delicious with very good breakfast options and creative egg dishes. Attentive and pleasant staff. We chose it to entertain friends and we were not disappointed. We will be back!
From a person that NEVER orders chicken in a restaurant, it was crazy amazing! Thank you to the Chef, Freddy!!! I'm not sure any other chicken will compare!!! MIND BLOWN! As for our service, Lance was on point! And, we have to mention our back waiter from Poland! Not sure what to say! We absolutely loved him! Good Luck in your travels!
