A bit loud, but great. I ordered the omakase and it's in my top 3 meals I ever had.

This is sushi excellence. I sat at the bar and Clark was so helpful with his suggestions. I tried as much as I could fit in my belly, lol. The hot rock waygu is a must. The black cod lettuce cup & tempura did not disappoint. I had never seen Uni Tempura and it was a special moment indeed. The roll & sashimi all ranked high as some of the best I have ever had. Dessert equally bangin'.
If you make it to Vail, this is a must. I would suspect that it's a hard table to get in ski season so plan ahead

Lovely atmosphere. My small party of three ordered the Omakase and OMG it was amazing. Everything was so absolutely delicious. Some of it even brought tears to my eyes. And the timing and portions were perfect. The wait staff was also very attentive.
The Omakase may be far from cheap, but if you're a foodie at all, it's an experience not to be missed.

LOVED this place. Girlfriend and I aren’t very familiar with Japanese food but know we enjoy sushi. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the dishes.
I’d recommend the shishito pepper, spicy tuna crispy rice and black cod lettuce cup (!!!!). We had the house sushi roll which was awesome and some tuna roll which was off menu that we both are dreaming of.
There are awesome views from the restaurant too. If possible try to sit behind the bar (closer to the mountain) since the views are unobstructed from there.
Our only drawback were the NOBU tacos. They were fine, but nothing special.

Incredible experience both in service and gastronomy.
Unbelievable food!! They accommodated my food sensitivities perfectly and with confidence. Fantastic attentive staff. Best service in Vail. Crazy good food. Great views of the Mtn. Love the place!! First time there.
We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at Matsuhisa, and I'm soooo glad we did! The food was delicious and creative. There were so many moments where we said "wow", and we slowed down just to appreciate each taste. Our server Danae was super sweet and attentive. We had great wine and cocktails too. Thank you so much for a special eve!
We joined foodie family for a celebration dinner to culminate our Vail trip and were not disappointed. There is a separate menu for gluten free/celiac which was very much appreciated. The knowledgeable server talked us through the menu and made great suggestions. Most items were available in gluten free form (notable exceptions were tempura and eel) which made for a true family style dining experience. The food was excellent - our favorite was the toro tartar with caviar.
