Outstanding upscale dinner spot. Service was outstanding from the knowledgeable waitress to everyone bringing out meals and refilling water. Manager personally served wine and was very knowledgeable on the huge wine menu. We had rolls and skewers as well as the warm shrimp dish. All very flavorful and fresh. Excellent choice.

Service was impeccable. The food was very enjoyable. We make it a point to go whenever we're in Vail. Husband loves the scallops. The tempura was hot, crunchy and delicious! I enjoyed the miso cod lettuce cup so much that I ordered a second! The staff was attentive, very polite and professional.

We have been here multiple times. Sadly, this visit we were very rushed by our waitress. I know they have to move tables, but this was excessive! The food was just ok. Which was dis ! It's alway been SO good! This was sub par sushi, boring rolls. Just not like it used to be!

We've eaten here many times and always a great experience. This time was exceptional in large part to our server -Jeff. He made great recommendations and didn't rush us. We will absolutely be back and ask for Jeff!
The service and wait staff were impeccable! The food was also very good. My only feedback was that I had requested to be seated on the outdoor patio to enjoy the weather and views, but were instead seated inside without a mention as to why we couldn't sit outside. Other than that, it was great!

Matsuhisa Vail delivers on flavor and service—the food is beautifully prepared and the staff is attentive and professional. However, be prepared for very small portions and a steep price tag. It's a great spot for a special occasion, but not ideal if you're looking for value or leaving full.

Was in town for go pro games.Did the omakase and added a sea bass with truffles. Great server who guided us through the meal. Sat at the bar. The head chef kept showing off some truffles he had. Way better than expected for sushi in the middle of the rockies.
