Sean at the bar delivered exceptional service to us over the course of several days. Highly recommend stopping by for a quick break on the mountain with some awesome views.

Wow Vail Resorts. You have stooped to new lows. This is by far the worst slop I’ve ever eaten in 30 years of skiing.
The ramen noodles are a disgusting sticky mess. The broth TASTES STRONGLY SWEET because your food provider adds sugar. The chicken didn’t actually look like chicken.
YUCK YUCK YUCK
Employees of Vail Resorts should be absolutely ashamed.

Mid Vail has the views, but the food misses the mark. My chicken noodle soup came in a small bowl that was only half full, and the flavor was flat with no real depth or patina.
Bloody Mary’s at the Mid-Vail bar are amazing! So is Karl the bartender. Better than any other Bloody at Vail.

Not the best place to stop for a burger and hot dog as they are $25 and $17 with fries. The ordering process is confusing but it works. Chicken tenders are a bit skimpy for the price.

Mid-Vail is where Gondola One arrives and you can start skiing or grab a bite to eat ⛷️❄️
The food is "OK" since you find both a salad bar and a bowl bar, drinks of all kinds, hot chocolate, snacks, Ramen, etc. However, I wouldn't say that everything is high quality (my brother got sick from the meatballs).
My salad was very good, my Ramen too and I'm not complaining. The mountain views are spectacular on the upper floor but expect quite a few people in high season 🗻

Food poisoning from a hardly cooked burger on December 16 with 1 bite. Beware.

1 Star – Save Your Money and Go Elsewhere
I had high hopes for this ski lodge, but unfortunately, it was a massive disappointment. The slopes might be decent, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired – especially the food.
First off, the food prices are absolutely outrageous. I’m talking $20 for a basic burger and fries that wouldn’t even impress a fast-food chain. Want a cup of hot cocoa? Be prepared to shell out almost $10. It’s absurd, especially considering the quality is mediocre at best.
The lodge itself feels run-down and overcrowded. Finding a seat to eat after you’ve just spent a small fortune is next to impossible. Don’t even get me started on the service – long lines, unhelpful staff, and a general “we don’t care” attitude.
For the amount of money they’re charging, you’d expect at least some level of comfort and quality, but this place is all about squeezing every penny out of their guests. If you’re planning a ski trip, do yourself a favor and pack your own food or pick a lodge that doesn’t treat you like a walking wallet.

Middle of the mountains in vail. Nice.
Took gondola one up to the top and the view here was spectacular. We had just come here to visit from North Carolina. The elevation did a number on us, but we didn’t want that to stop us from seeing the top.

Came during the summer and based on their website picked this place because it pictured Quinoa salad and other healthy options for wife and I. Purchased the gondola ticket with lunch. Get up to the restaurant to find it’s a summer menu and the food is terrible. Burgers tasted like school cafeteria burgers. Wife’s black bean burger was a salt bomb. Expected better from this place and Vail.
