Got the bbq salmon and the grouper special and both were outstanding. Key lime cheesecake was amazing as well. Service was friendly and responsive. Quality dinner.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner last night at Montauk Seafood Grill. Our server Dom, was excellent with a very friendly personality. They have many seafood choices from which to choose. Our dinner was absolutely delicious with very fresh halibut and savory accompaniments. The ambience had a great vibe, and not loud and noisy. It is definitely on our list when we return to Vail.

We've been here for a week and this was, by far, our best meal!!! I had the sea bass with the fabulous Brussels sprouts and delicious salad and my husband had the grilled scallops with the green beans and sticky rice.

Restaurant itself was beautiful and upscale, had kids menus and coloring pages. Service was a little slow but otherwise great. The crab cakes appetizer was delicious. The kids crab legs were delicious, however it ended up being $85 for a kids meal, which is absolutely outrageous! The tuna was pretty bland, and the dessert was clearly just a frozen pre made piece of ice cream cake. The food was no where worth the money. Would not recommend.

We were seated right away. It took a few for the server to come by, but it wasn't a terrible wait. The waitress helped me decide on a drink, the Cindy Lou, but made with vodka. It was really good! I should have had another one. I ordered the halibut and it was delicious, along with the mashed potatoes and salad that came with it. I cannot believe in all my years coming to Vail I have not come to Montauk previously. It will now be one of my must places to eat when in town.

Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. We ordered the Salmon, Halibut and Steak- each bite was perfection. You can tell they take real pride in sourcing quality ingredients and preparing them with care. What really set the night apart, though, was the extra effort the team made when they found out we were celebrating our anniversary. Without us asking, they surprised us with a complimentary glass of champagne to toast the evening. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the night feel truly special. This isn't just a great seafood spot – it's a place where you feel taken care of. We'll absolutely be back, and we'll be recommending it to everyone we know.
