Pepi's is just the best. There was live music in the bar and we had a fabulous dinner on the patio. We highly recommend the fantastic food and the wonderful ambiance.
Steak au Poivre was incredible, wedge salad was among the best we've ever had. Wonderful service and a charming classic European setting - the patio is covered and has some of the best people watching in town. Highly recommended!!
Everything was delicious... we ordered the steak tartare, the trout isn't in the Menu was amazing, goulash and stroganoff. With the Albariño wine . The waiter super friendly
Hadn't been to Pepi's in 15+ years. It was as great as I remembered. Burgers were delicious and the goulash was outstanding, as always. It's amazing that it's the same as the first time I was at Pepi's since 1983 and it's still one of my favs in Vail. Thank you!
Solid lunch option, soup/sandwich combo is perfect for a quick lunch then back to the slopes!!!
After many years returned to dine in the Antler Room. I first experienced dining here over 45 years ago. It was my first time eating wild game and this remains the focus along with the Usual veal dishes. Nothing has changed since then which is how it should be if you want this type of food/dining. It's an old time classic experience with tableside preparation. Nothing trendy. The Wapiti elk was the best of all the dishes in our group. It was nice seeing Sheika enjoying dinner with friends, Pepi, long gone. I hope this place goes on for many more years
The food and service was great. It's a cool place with a bar on one side of the restaurant with a lively crowd and musicians. The restaurant side is closed off so it's quiet.
Fantastic food and overall experience. The steak tartare prepared table side was perfection as was the rack of caribou and the schnitzel. Absolute 5 stars!
Great Reuben sandwich, Kasespaetzle and pork schnitzel. The soft pretzel was meh. There are much better soft pretzels in other European restaurants at Vail. We had a 2pm reservation, server quickly took our order and food was served promptly. Unfortunately, server never returned to top off drinks.
Food was very nice ( but expensive ) . Service slow at the beginning then improved but fell away again after main course .

Great place and we come back every year. This is a must visit when you're in Vail. We always get the gulasch soup, wienerschnitzel and of course the apfel strudel. Delicious!
Pepi's has always been and will continue to be a spot I enjoy when in Vail. Great authentic restaurant.
We have been going to this wonderful restaurant for decades. In the heart of the village it is great.
My favorite place to go in Vail! Fabulous Austrian food right in the heart of town. This time my son joined me for lunch in between runs and was so hot inside from boarding, the hostess manager opened up the patio just for us and reseated us where she opened a window for him. I'm celiac but have so many options including bratwurst and sauerkraut at lunch. If you're going to Vail, you won't want to miss Pepi's.
This was such a beautiful dining experience. We started our dinner with tuna that was prepared so wonderfully. I had the halibut over rice and I believe it was the most delicious meal I have eaten. My spouse had the elk (cooked in front of us) with mushroom sauce, homemade noodles, pear glazed with cranberry sauce. The chef took our order, served our drinks, prepared and served our food, and cleared our plates.
Thank you for this beautiful experience!
