This was such a beautiful dining experience. We started our dinner with tuna that was prepared so wonderfully. I had the halibut over rice and I believe it was the most delicious meal I have eaten. My spouse had the elk (cooked in front of us) with mushroom sauce, homemade noodles, pear glazed with cranberry sauce. The chef took our order, served our drinks, prepared and served our food, and cleared our plates.
Thank you for this beautiful experience!

Horrible service highly not recommended to visit if you have service animals which is illegal! I came with my 1 pound small service animal the hostess who barely speak English ask illegal questions that against the low about my service animal! If you have service animals this place is not allowed

Got the brats and mashed potatoes for lunch. The mashed potatoes coule have been really good, but were served lukewarm. The brats also came lukewarm and were just ok, not the best brats ive ever had. Servers were good and attentive.

Food is really good. Wait staff were all very friendly. We tried the pretzel, the pork brat, and the “sparsely” which was super yummy. We eat here every time we come to Vail.

Absolutely loved eating here! The hostess was absolutely delightful and the sweetest and most adorable woman ever. The food was phenomenal and the service was top notch. It was not overpriced, even for Vail and we sat outside in the sunshine and truly enjoyed every second of our time there..
Kid-friendliness: Brought my 9 year old and she enjoyed her food and the restaurant was set up for people of all ages

Pepis Bar & Restaurant in Vail is a true classic with a warm, alpine vibe and delicious Austrian-inspired fare. The schnitzel is fantastic, and the authentic atmosphere transports you straight to the Alps. Friendly staff and a lively ambiance make it a great spot for both food and drinks after a day outdoors. A must-visit for a memorable Vail experience!

This was the only restaurant open during off-season in vail village!
Loved the french onion soup and truffle gnocchi!
Didn’t like the Brussels sprouts - felt it was overly burnt!

The boneless trout was excellent at lunch; my husband had clam chowder which he said was great. Beautiful day, we sat in an open air room, just wonderful. Also had a desert.

A typical gasthaus in a busy section of Vail . Had an outstanding serving of goulash. Good German beers and a good Ruben. Are al fresco
