We got to Pepi‘s at 3:45 and sat in an outdoor table. When we arrived, there was one server and one busser for 14 tables. We placed our order for drinks, a pretzel and wings. Our drinks and pretzel came out Quickly. We asked our server for water three times and eventually I went to the bar to get water. I also went in to get napkins. The bus person had disappeared leaving one server for 14 tables. I asked multiple times for our wings. Eventually, I went inside to talk to a manager. We were witnessing people clearing tables to sit at, getting cleaning supplies to wipe down their tables, going inside to get water, napkins, etc. once I spoke to somebody inside two other people came out to help the waitress. our wings ended up coming out about 45 minutes after we ordered them. The outside area was very poorly run, there should have been a host to seat people, there should have been multiple servers, and if that wasn’t the case, then the patio should have been closed or had limited seating. we will never frequent this establishment again. One of the servers who came out to help our server was extremely rude. However, Daniela, who also came out to help was very friendly and got our wings right away.

We've been here several times over the years - LOVE it!! Both the family style room, and the Antler room with exotic game cooked tableside, are superb. A++++++

4 of us dined with varying meals and shared the Hungarian goulash stew as an appetizer. The stew was excellent and set the stage for a culinary experience. Don't skip this restaurant when visiting Vail.

Tourist Trap. I was looking forward to this meal for a long time, I have heard about it and l love German food! I was excited about the Käsespätzle because it is so hard to find. I should have known what was going on the minute I saw the beer menu, they have a real racket going on -16oz for $9 or a 1/2 liter for $11 (less than an oz for $3 more)! The meal I came for was a let down, chewy fried onions, the onions in the spätzle should be caramelized and the cheese should be smooth and creamy-not stringy, very disappointing for $36. My advice if you are going, get the $9 beer and the Wienerschnitzel (it was the best meal at our table). If you want better quality Swiss/German food with a better atmosphere, go to Alpenrose.

A nice surprise to find an authentic Austrian restaurant in the heart of Vall. Our family dined on goulash, pepper steak, gnocchi and jagerschnisel. Bar was a bit rowdy so nice to dine in the main restaurant. Great service. Not kid friendly which is also nice if you are needing a break from the little ones ;)

Can't go wrong with Pepi's. The bar is raucous, but the dining area quiet and relaxed. You can split large entree portions and get your own sides. I had venison...very well prepared.

My husband and I had an absolutely fabulous dining experience last night at Pepi’s. The grilled venison was cooked to perfection and so tender. Apple streudel was out of this world. If visiting Vail, you must make a dinner reservation!
