We loved this restaurant so much! They have both good and authentic Chinese and Thai food. The sushi there was fresh and tasty. The sushi chef “Fei” even came to our table to ask about how we like the sushi when he was available. We talked a little bit and knowing that he has been working as a sushi chef for over 16 years. I would like to say my sushi was not only a dish but also an art work. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends if they come for skiing。

It’s not in the name, but this is the best authentic Chinese in Vail - honestly better than most of my favorite places in Denver, too.
Ask laoban for the xiao chao and don’t forget to byo 九 🐲

This is the best Asian restaurant in Vail and possibly Colorado.
They have a huge menu from sushi to Thai but the stand outs are their Chinese dishes. If you want authentic Szechuan this is the place!
What we got:
- Wonton soup - homemade dumplings had a good ginger and garlic flavor. Big enough for two as an app.
- Double cooked pork - absolutely outstanding. Big portion with vegetables, fermented black beans, so good!
- Spicy crispy fish - highly recommend this if you like spicy food. I love this dish whether the chicken or fish variations and this might have been the best I’ve had!
I can’t say enough about the Chinese food. We were blown away with how good they were.
Our server Patrick was incredible. He was so friendly and welcoming. He’s a serious skier and you can often find him backpacking 30+ pounds of cooking gear to make fresh food slope side!
We have tried many places in Vail and I highly, highly, highly recommend this place. The interior is small so I recommend making a reservation.
Pro tip: it’s BYOB so bring a bottle of wine or a few beers!

Pretty great! Lots of vegan options for Vail. Some things are a little pricey but not insane. Food is good but not amazing. Service was excellent. Would recommend for a casual fast meal if you are in lionshead and are not looking to go to a sit-down joint with drinks.

So glad we came across this hidden gem! Came in with a group of 10 and we all had a great time. Every dish we ordered was amazing and the service was quick as well. We are already discussing coming back to try more dishes later this week. Tons of options for vegetarians. Our favorite dishes were the ones recommended by our server! BYOB

Ordered delivery and the range of quality was surprising. The kung pao chicken was amazing! Best I’ve had outside of China. But the Thai food was sub par.

The service at that place is terrible. The waiter who served me didn’t even seem to know the menu. We asked about something, and he said they didn’t have it, even though it was clearly listed on the menu. Then he practically pushed us out the door. It’s an awful place if you expect to be treated kindly. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. If it were the only place to eat, I’d rather starve than go back there.

I like this place, and I hope they make it. I live next door and have watched half a dozen restaurants fail in this doomed location... but the folks are friendly, the menu is vast and sure to please everyone, and the food is pretty good. It's hard to find a casual inexpensive meal in Vail (that isn't truly terrible), and this fits the bill.

Food was fantastic! We will certainly eat here again. The only negative really was that the plates weren't very clean. We had to wipe them off with the napkin. Still, the food was impressively good. The portions were VERY generous. We shared wonton soup and the boiled fish filet that is pictured below. The picture was taken after all the fish was eaten. The bowl was completely topped. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I was told I should order online with Doordash for delivery, but never got my food. The Thai restaurant told me they have nothing to do with it and said I should call the Doordash driver. The driver didn't speak a word English. So, I paid $86 for two meals and and appetizer and got nothing. The address I had given was correct and a big well-known hotel.
