We ate at the Swiss Chalet on January 21st 2026. Sigi waited on us and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Sigi was amazing at explaining everything and making sure we had the exactly the experience we wanted. The food and service were excellent and exactly what you would hope for. 5 stars.

Great food as always, with great service. My boy loves beef but surprisingly loves their cheese fondue as much. The only problem was that we were too full to have chocolate fondue!

I'd like to commend Swiss Chalet restaurant for delivering an exceptional experience every time we go. The ambiance and food are excellent, but the real standout is our server, Sigi, who we've had a few times. She is so warm, professional, and knows exactly the right amount of attention and care to give her guests. She is the best server we've come across at ANY restaurant.

We had the best time trying out Swiss fondue, hosted by the amazing Sigi! She was so personable from the beginning to the end, and we enjoyed every bit of our meal. Glad we made reservations beforehand. We tried the sausage sampler (delish and filling), cheese raclette fondue with bread and mixed vegetables, and a veal schnitzel (with French fries to dip into the fondue—hello!) Overall, a must-try experience for couples and groups when in Vail. 10/10 food, service, and ambiance.
This was a great experience. It felt like we were in a little Swiss chalet. The service was outstanding, all of the food was great. We loved the truffle fondue, and the winter salad was spot on. Started with the bratwurst appetizer which was a great addition to have to dip in the fondue later. Lovely experience. We will be back.
