The Elk was delicious. The Tavern salad was good but it's huge so shareable. The “artisan bread” was not worth ordering. It seemed burnt in the top so the crust was so hard you could cut it.
Tavern on the Square is a 5-star gem! We visited twice in one day, first for breakfast and again for cocktails. The breakfast spread was incredible, with an amazing omelet station and an impressive pastry selection. Later, Neil crafted an incredible espresso martini that was the perfect pick-me-up. But what truly made our experience special was the exceptional service from Jay and Neil - they were warm, attentive, and made us feel like locals. If you're in Vail, do yourself...
