Really wanted to visit the speakeasy but it was closed on the days we were in town. Gorgeous space with many different areas. The Library is beautiful. And the arcade bar in the back was a very cool touch.

What is there to like? The over priced sodas and drinks that cost a few bucks to make but are charged at ten times the price? A soda here will cost you $13 keep in mind the minimum wage in Denver is $18/hr. I’m sure you’ll love to make friends with the vapid groups of out of touch tourists that crowd the place, get pushy and drunk and disrespect the local community. This place is a blatant money grab for dumb tourists.

Basing my review solely off an interaction during Taste of Vail, the very unkempt Megan, I believe is her name, who intentionally skipped over me multiple times while passing out gift cards to patrons waiting in line for samples. When I brought it to her attention, she not only acknowledged that I too had been waiting in along with the others that she’d passed out gift cards to but then attempted to give me a gift card as well which I politely declined. This pretentious and prejudiced interaction alone deterred me from ever wanting to patronize this establishment. Please do better. This was the only negative encounter I had at the entire Taste of Vail experience, thus why I felt compelled to leave a review.

Cool atmosphere, great service, incredibly expensive, decent vegan options.

Don’t quite understand such a low rating for this restaurant. Food was very good, portions are generous for sure, and the price is very reasonable for the area. Definitely worth a try!

Excellent décor food and ambiance. The wine list is excellent and well priced. Saint Cosme and Saint Marguerite are a must.

If I could give them zero stars I would

CALL AHEAD

We came from out of state to celebrate with friends and chose this place mostly based on the rooms that Chasing Rabbits has and the cool ambience of the different spaces. We were very disappointed that no effort to communicate that all of the other spaces were privately booked was made until after we arrived. Our friends are moving out of the area this year, so we won't really get to experience the rest of the place. I also ran into some people who had reserved the library space and they were upset the other spaces weren't available as well

The food was above average. The loup de mer was a standout and highly recommended. The Philo wrapped salmon, rabbit Bolognese, and Paris Brest could have used some refinement of flavor.

The service was slow. Our dinner took over three hours. We had to return a drink because a key ingredient wasn't available and we were not told at the time of ordering. We also were brought the wrong dessert first, which caused a half hour wait for dessert.

I assume the other spaces are really neat from the glimpses you can see near the bathrooms, but overall if we would have called ahead and known the spaces weren't open, we would have passed.

I can't say the restaurant is worth the price.

Good company and the loup de mer kept it enjoyable though :)

One of the best meals I've ever eaten. Bone marrow, spectacular. Crispy pork belly, spectacular. Lamb tagine, spectacular. Excellent and creative cocktails, brilliant atmosphere, great service. No notes.

Went for dinner, they were very busy, kids hollerin', guests chatting and it was real loud.
The waiter we had was honestly very poorly suited to his job. He attempted to upcharged pretty shamelessly at every chance he got (4 or 5 times). We had to repeat our order a few times for him.
Later he took our wine order before the mains were on the table - the dishes get dropped and 10 minutes later he comes over to say he forgot what we ordered. By the time we got the drinks the dinners were done.
I've been a bartender for years, and I don't ask for much. The food was fine, don't get me wrong. But I truly had a terrible dinning experience here. It's Vail - everything is overpriced and this is no exception. But to have such a negative dining experience and pay a few hundred dollars for it is just so so lame.

Definitely an only “instagram” restaurant. Their food was way over rated and over priced. Salmon was super fishy. We ordered 3 appetizers and 3 main dishes. Not impressed with any of it. Our waitress, I believe Andrea, was nice. We will not be coming back

Terrible service, terrible food, terrible vibes. Worst place to go in vail. Hosts are awful, staff are awful. Food was completely over buttered and vinegary, and even if it had been good (it wasn’t), I’ve never dealt with such a rude host and waiter. 0/10

Very good, excellent food

Did not have food here, have only been to the bar. But the staff has been incredibly rude multiple times that I've visited this establishment. At their apres DJ and at the actual bar/club. I frequently spend time in Vail and was so excited for this place, but will not return due to the horribly rude service received. Also you will have to wait in line for a very long time and it is not worth it.
