Service absolutely terrible - not that there’s any service necessary in a takeout coffee shop - however Alexsandra who was taking the order was rude, unhelpful, and obnoxious just seems to be her way despite tipping. Would definitely avoid this place. Also very rude to my 8 year old kid for no reason. Sort of employee that I would let go as clearly doesn’t share the same mission as Sonnenalp.

We had a really lovely time at Treff Cafe in Vail. The café is very cozy and comfortable, perfect for sitting down and relaxing. We ordered a few things at different times — the blueberry Danish, strawberry & cream sundae, and the smoked salmon bagel — and everything was surprisingly delicious. The smoked salmon bagel was especially amazing and definitely a must-try if you like smoked salmon. 😋 The staff were extremely friendly and kind. Some seats have power outlets, which is super helpful when you need to charge your phone or tablet while waiting for people who went skiing. Also, the restroom was very clean, which I really appreciate. Such a nice place with great vibes and delicious food. Highly recommend!

The server madeleine at the cashier has no idea what she is doing here. Poor customer service. She told em the hot chocolate comes with whipped cream . Serve me a 13$ hot chocolate disgusting taste like powder cacao. When I ask for a refund she said she can’t do that.

Fantastic little cafe has great outdoor seating with umbrellas and heaters lots of indoor seating and also even bar seating they serve beer and wine a nice selection of savory pastries I tried the meat empanada and it was tasty I also had a chai latte and it was one of the best I've ever had took a while to get my order but there was a big rush with a bicycle group.
The ham & cheese croissant, the cappuccino with oat milk and the hot mint tea were delicious. Other pastries look fantastic too. Service was very friendly and professional. Best cafe we have found in Vail.
