Unfortunately we were not able to purchase anything from this lovely looking cafe. As soon as we were able to order and we’re in the process or paying for our items another customer came up and interrupted us to speak to the cashier. He (the cashier) dropped everything that he was helping us with and took over 10 minutes to assist that person, leaving no one at the register for 10 minutes. He left us there without taking our card so we couldn’t even say that the order had gone through. The day that we were in there 8/3 around 1pm there were not that many customers however the staff did seem very unorganized. This resulted in us leaving the cafe and not purchasing anything. This was in the off-season so I hope they have a better resolution for in season. I will say that their menu looked like it had plenty of variety and the interior design makes it feel nice and cozy. But I would work on the service.

Great place to get coffee and breakfast pastries but the food is just ‘okay’. Very friendly service but it is expensive.

The slowest cup of black coffee ever poured. Waiting 15 mins and counting for a simple black coffee order. Don't know about the food but service is like watching paint dry.

Bagel & lox was excellent! Very generous portion and fresh ingredients. The mocha was great too with no added sweetener.

My favorite cafe in Vail. I used to go just for morning coffee and the lox (very generous and fresh salmon portion) and maybe an afternoon Hugo Spritz, but they also make the best empanadas I’ve ever tasted. Just big chunks of slow braised beef in a warm, crispy crust. Amazing.

Food: Fantastic food. We got the Bavarian pretzel, tomato and mozzarella panini, brie and prosciutto panini, mocha, and the ginger-ish.
Bavarian pretzel hit the SPOT, hot, fresh, and the mustard is fantastic.
Paninis were both very flavorful but not in your face.
Mocha was subdued which was fantastic, usually a mocha tastes like hot chocolate with a hint of espresso, but this is much more classic of a mocha.
Ginger-ish is a great mocktail, incredibly refreshing.

Service: Cielo, who greeted us and served us ,was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Served us at our table with a fantastic presentation, honestly she was one of the highlights.

Atmosphere: small, but not dark. Really liked the window seat we got, the wood brightens up the space and it's very comfortable and cozy with the cushions.

Would recommend again and again, happy hour is also a great time to come by ?
