My wife looked up GF cafes in Vail and the Treff cafe came up. It serves a range of GF baked goods. The blueberry muffins were particularly good in both GF and non GF. The location is great in the pedestrian free part of Vail. Service was very good and the open area in front of the cafe is wonderful on a bright sunny day.
My favorite cafe in Vail. I used to go just for morning coffee and the lox (very generous and fresh salmon portion) and maybe an afternoon Hugo Spritz, but they also make the best empanadas I’ve ever tasted. Just big chunks of slow braised beef in a warm, crispy crust. Amazing.
Food: Fantastic food. We got the Bavarian pretzel, tomato and mozzarella panini, brie and prosciutto panini, mocha, and the ginger-ish.

Paninis were both very flavorful but not in your face.
Mocha was subdued which was fantastic, usually a mocha tastes like hot chocolate with a hint of espresso, but this is much more classic of a mocha.
