Our experience at Up The Creek was disappointing. We've gone there for years and loved it. Only 1 out of 4 of us were happy with their meal.

I did not receive my entree until my dining companions were finished. The manager realized what happened and I was quickly served. Also the entree was complimentary. It was delicious and we will return to this restaurant. Great location

Up the creek but definitely not without a paddle. The seared duck was paired amazingly with the sweet potato and fig sauce. The asparagus was tender and flavorful. While the broccolini was somewhat lacking the bone in pork chop and garlic mashed potatoes were superb. The real star of the show was the bacon jam that was paired with the chop. The drinks could be improved, only one beer on tap and a limited selection of wine by the glass. The manager was attentive but the servers could stand to have their attire reviewed. At $50+ per plate I dont want to see my servers boxers. Overall very happy with our experience. We will definitely be back to try more.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Up the Creek in August 2025 and Mike & team were INCREDIBLE in hosting us for the event. Mike was so responsive & communicative of the event logistics ahead of time. Their team was so helpful with setting up decor the day of & moving things around throughout the dinner. The food was amazing & we got so many compliments on it, from the passed apps to the entree to the incredible dessert & bar service. Would absolutely recommend Up the Creek for an event or even just lunch/dinner, you won't regret it!!

We haven't been to Up the Creek in years. That was a big mistake. Our dinner was fabulous. We are in Vail a lot and eat at all of the restaurants in the valley. Up the Creek is one of the best in Vail.

We've been to the restaurant many times over the years and always had a great experience. This time, not so much. There were way too many misbehaving kids making too much noise to have an enjoyable time. I can't blame the restaurant but would recommend that there be an area or time for just adults.

Arugula salad and braised short rib were so delicious! Fresh greens,pears, cranberries,candied nuts and goat cheese was so good. The short rib was so tender and the Mac/cheese it Sat upon was the best we have ever tasted! Oh...the clam chowder was also fantastic!
