Pretty solid overall! Had to wrestle my steak a bit, but the flavor was on point and the Brussels sprouts were so bomb. I tried the spicy margarita — and I love heat — but this one was a little too fiery for me. Next time I’ll stick with the classic margarita.

Excellent restaurant with a grape vibe. Great bar with lots of TVs live entertainment sometimes. I had the lamb chops and they were excellent. The wedge salad with salmon was also very good. I wouldn't recommend the cheesecake it was the small kind of cupcake size I prefer the wedge where the real strawberry sauce on top.

Steaks were great and so was mashed potatoes- however, wedge salad was disappointing and had very little on it. Bread was $11 and was just a loaf of barely warm uninteresting bread. We won't order those items again. Service was great.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Vail chophouse. Our server , Abbi was attentive and very friendly. The NY strip steak es were done perfectly and delicious! Would highly recommend.

Very loud music from outside patio was filtered into restaurant with door left propped open. Food was mediocre and fairly expensive for the overall quality. Had a 3 person party and one person had a soup and salad and I had a burger and fries with an appetizer of artichoke dip which wasn't that bad. Third person had the Chilean sea bass and ticket was $235 with two drinks a person before tip. I didn't finish burger as it lacked flavor and was just a large meat patty.

First time to Vail This was one the better restaurants we tried Filet was very good, tender and cooked right Service was good and very accommodating to special request

Awesome location. The ambiance was not good. Felt like we were in a cafeteria. Went for romantic dinner but lighting was bright. Cleaning gear and dish cart right by front door as you walk in. Bathrooms haven't been updated with only hand dryers and no paper towels. Staff was attentive but host was overly casually dressed with jeans and shirt. The saving grace was that the food was really good. Not a typical Chop house experience as you would expect.

When making reservations, I asked for patio because we had a dog. Got there early and learned the patio was closed for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️ There was live music and it was already full. That was not listed on Open Table. The same thing happened the next night. We ended up sitting inside and no ambiance at all.

More like a steakhouse in “small city Midwest” than Vail. Server wanted us to order before drinks even came; $29 martini was a bit steep. Food was very good and food prices comparable to other place but the atmosphere and vibe wasn't what we had hoped for.

Really enjoyed our first visit to the Chophouse. Outside dining was delightful. Food and service were both excellent and the prices were very reasonable for a high end Vail eatery. Definitely recommend.

We were seated on time for our reservation, and weren't spoken to again. The restaurant was busy but not overly. I cannot even comment on the food as we didn't even get a glass of water before leaving. 40 minutes of my life wasted.

Disappointed in the fried chicken dish. If you're expecting “fried chicken” that is crispy. This is not for you. It's very lightly battered, no crunch, and the piece of chicken is pretty thick. My family did not enjoy their steak either. The Brussel sprouts were very good though.
