Amazing place. Friendliest owner and awesome drinks.
Excellent food and friendly staff.
It's a chill place. The beer is good.
My wife and I were visiting from Pueblo to hike the West Spanish Peak. We like to find a brewery after hiking, and this place did not disappoint! We rolled in tired and hungry after a long day on the mountain, and this place both welcomed us in and had great beer and food options. Highly recommend!
Stopped by on a whim and throughly enjoyed ourselves. We will be back. 🍻
Absolutely fantastic! Stopped by on our way from Springs down to Angel Fire and had an amazing lunch and time!! We brought our kids and they broke out the costume bag for the kids to have fun! Tons of games, good vibes, VERY LGBT+ friendly, and great drinks.
We will be back each time we do this drive!
We had planned to get to Pueblo for dinner after visiting Great Sand Dunes, but we ended up duning longer than expected and stopped here instead mostly because it was open and we were hungry. The menu was small but we ordered three dishes and while they were all delicious the lamb curry was sensational. The Canary staff was very gracious and accommodating of our young kids, with a high chair and coloring supplies at the ready, plus a changing table in the bathroom. Like a roadside tavern of yore, we weary travelers walked in grumpy, tired, and hungry and walked out feeling warm, nourished and comforted.
We needed a stopover on a roadtrip, and this place made us want to wile away a few extra days in Walsenburg. I love that the food is actually homemade! We couldn’t drink bc of a light night drive but that’s our loss. Homey home away from home, with a fun cast of locals rolling through. Every town needs a brewery like this one. Never die for the man!
Stopped here when driving through town for a drink and a quick bite late on a Thursday. Crafty Canary did not disappoint!!! It had veggie options for me and an Asian inspired beef and rice bowl for my fiancé. Drinks and food were amazing!! There were a group of locals hanging by the bar having a good time which added to the atmosphere along with the local art and plants and vibe. The service was excellent. Do not hesitate to stop in !! 10/10
This is a tiny space but the service was excellent and the food was even better. I ate here with family and we all shared. These are all huge portions except for the burgers.

The beers were pretty good! The location is small but very friendly and comfortable. The food was really good. We had the burger, more like a slider with chips. The flavor was great and we were not looking for anything large so it worked out well.
Good food, good beer and great atmosphere!!!
Great beers and food. We ducked in for a quick bite and a beer (IPA). We ended up joining another group and spent much of the afternoon chatting.
Stopped in to have a few drinks and felt really at home here. Stayed an extra day to check out the mounting mining festival days. It was really cool. Nice small parade and candy for the kids..
Best local owned business ive stopped by. The service was amazingly warm and welcoming and the food represented what a home-cooked meal made with love looks like. I'll definitely be stopping by here each time I pass through town.
