“I have been going there since it first opened in 1977. George Amedei started it up. He really knew what he was doing when he created this diner! Tremendous comfort food for breakfast and lunch. George worked with a local butcher to create the best patty sausage I have ever tasted. Same butcher does the ground beef. The best hamburger on the planet, in my opinion. Great Green Chile for the Mexican dishes, too! George (RIP) passed it on to his son, who passed it on to another gentleman who has kept it original and authentic. Never had a bad meal there in almost half a century. Yeah, you may have to wait a while for a table, but it is more than worth the wait!”

“A trip down to Taos, Santa Fe, Trinidad, or any road trip bringing me past Walsenburg isn’t complete without a stop and cheers at Crafty Canary. I first discovered this place years ago and today on my way back from Santa Fe was fully reminded how valuable it is to the area and my road trips. The new food menu is amazing featuring local raised beef and other locally sourced ingredients. Their beer and spirit selection is on par of any of the hippest establishments you’ll find in any urban area.”

“Outstanding place to eat in Wassenburg, Co. Tina's Family Cafe. We had burrito's mine was smothered and Randy's was plain. . .with a side of hash browns. He decided, the Green Chili Sauce was so good on mine he wanted some, too. The staff was so friendly, and atmosphere was very comfy and relaxed and the food great. Definitely a family atmosphere, They did not mind me taking pictures, and I assured the customers I was trying not to take their picture. Such a nice restaurant, and you should see the art, on the outside of the building. So cute I had to take many shots. Lots of signs that are so great inside the restaurant. “Restaurant recently reopened. Food was unbelievable. 4 of us, 4 different dishes...all superb. My fish hoagie sandwich was enough for 4 meals for me. The young waitress completely charmed my husband and endeared herself to all us us when advising on the "pink fluff" dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant. You will not walk away hungry!”

“Get clean spot. Open 24 hrs ! Ended up here at midnight almost in a snow storm was happy to get food and the 2 gentleman there making our 5 sandwiches were so polite respectful and fast. Even took there time to write on the labels which sandwich was which. They sandwiches were good and tasted fresh ! Would definitely come by if I in the area again.”

“It's a gas station partner which isn't as good as a stand alone but light-years better than the KFC combos.... that said put some ketchup bottles out... so tired of seeing packets at restaurants. That said food was great and staff were awesome even with my cousin making his order complicated.”

“This place looks like it has made some improvements. The food came out so fast people were not ready to pick it up. My husband reports the urinal is fine. Tables were not great, but some were fine. It was rush hour after all. Sadly, it was the worst crunchwrap I've ever had. It hardly had anything in it.”

I hadn't ate at a KFC in over 20 years due to filthy establishments & poor quality food. I will continue to go to KFCs now! I did miss my coleslaw & mashed potatoes & gravy + the best biscuit!”
