Buiscuits and gravy was fantastic. Great community diner. Okahlani was friendly and hard working.

Had breakfast here after a stay at the lofts upstairs. The fancy coffees were awesome. We had oatmeal and a power bowl. Both were really good with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend a visit.

Stopped by on our way through and grabbed a breakfast buritto and Americano to go. Both were delicious! Seriously the best coffee I've had in a week long vacation! The woman behind the counter was so nice, too. We will be back the next time our travels take us this way.

Above and beyond! Jen & Vanessa were so kind and seriously saved the day. I really wanted to find out our baby’s gender with a cake but the results came in at 2:30 pm and my husband had to fly out at 5 am the next morning for a month long work trip. My friend called with the results to see if they could fill a cupcake or make anything similar work out and they pulled together this beautiful cake same day. We could not be more grateful or happy with the product. These ladies are incredible, we can’t wait to go back!

A friend was excited to take me here for lunch and we ordered food at 12:36pm. We sat over on the Stokehouse side and after about 30 mins, I went over to check on our food. The staff said they would bring the food over to our table. Fine. I proceeded to go check on the food every 20 mins or so for over TWO HOURS. We finally got our food and the manager, Kayla, was rude and blamed us for sitting on the wrong side of the establishment, even though no one said that that was a problem at any point in time. She begrudgingly comped our meals but not our whole order, as we also ordered desserts. She continued to reiterate that in the future, we should sit on the other side, refusing the acknowledge that the staff said multiple times that it was okay for us to sit where we were. This was handled horribly. The food we eventually got was cold. I won't be back.

The food was delicious. Ordered a shrimp po' boy sandwich which the bread was soft. The fries were seasoned and thick. Service was good and friendly. Bonus was the little shops to shop while we waited.

I stumbled into Regal Burger completely by accident while showing property in Walsenburg — and honestly, that’s what made it so surprising.

I’ve had a lot of burgers over the years, including some truly great ones, so I’m not easily impressed. But when you’re hungry, on the road, and not expecting much… finding a spot that actually delivers is rare.

The bacon avocado burger hit the spot — solid, satisfying, and well done. The fries were hot and crisp, and the whole experience felt easy and welcoming. Before heading back to Westcliffe, I grabbed an iced latte for the drive home — and it was really good. Cold, smooth, and exactly what I needed.

Nothing overhyped, nothing pretentious — just good food, good coffee, and a cool, thoughtfully restored space inside the Walsenburg Mercantile. It truly felt like a one-stop shop when you’re on the move.

If you’re in Walsenburg and want a reliable place to eat, grab a coffee, and keep going, Regal Burger is absolutely worth the stop.

Second time stopping here for breakfast, because hands down they make the best breakfast tacos (with sausage) I’ve ever had. The Chai tea is also fantastic. It has a different flavor than Chai at most coffee places, like the milk after a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Unique and delicious! It’s located inside the mercantile, so browsing the various items for sale while waiting on the food is fun. Staff is very friendly and accommodating of requests.

This place takes five stars easily. In addition to good coffee and traditional American breakfast favorites, you can get a great veggie and quinoa option (pictured here with a fried egg added to it). Their homemade hummus is good, and I appreciate that they chopped up the veg so I didn’t have to do any sawing. I mixed it altogether—fresh, healthy breakfast with lots of protein. Look around while you wait and get a feel for the small town. Walsenberg is a gem.

A very nice selection of salads and sandwiches. Tables are inside a general store. I gathered you could get them to make a dish to order. Service was quick.
