Applebee's Grill + Bar

Went for a lunch meeting. I have not been to an Applebee's in well over a decade. I was pleasantly surprised at the food as well as cost. Would go back for sure.

1st we waited awhile before being seated ! All staff was in kitchen! Not BUSY at all. Was told David would be right with us, well this didn’t happen waited an additional 15 minutes while David did dishes! This is our final time we have given enough chances to get better! To many better choices to chose from! Maybe take lessons from Chilis, Hoffbrau! Even McDonalds is looking Good 😡

Second chance giving this location a try and second time that we were waiting for over 10 minutes. After waiting we left, having never spoken to any employees.

Just a little irritated-i normally have average service here (dont expect anything more) I walked in and sat at the bar and waited for at least 5 mins before anyone was even on the floor. Bartender arrives and said, "what do you want?" I ordered a bloody mary-it was vodka with tomato juice. No seasoning (none) no olives or lime.
Then she asks if I want a food menu. I was going to get food here but I'm finishing my "bloody mary" and going elsewhere for dinner. I'm a heavy tipper also-i have been in the business for 20+ years. Please just do better-customers want to feel welcome, not an inconvenience, which is how I felt. And truly, no hate against the bartender just a review for the overall company.
