I absolutely ADORE this Chuy's. It always brings me back home to Texas. Such a big part of is the incredible service, especially from servers like Nina. She was warm, attentive, and just genuinely welcoming. Honestly, it's the kind of hospitality that makes me want to come back just to sit in her section again. The food was great (of course) but the way Nina made us feel so taken care of is what really stood out, enough to post about it. That’s the original Chuy’s...

The servers were the only saving grace. Pretty faces to greet us, smiling over enthusiastic waitress. Remembered our little wants and needs. And wow we got free guac for coming in the for the first time ever.

But woaaaahh! Tex Mex indeed the food was awful to us lmao. Not even joking as I laugh writing this. Truly nasty. Maybe it’s bc we had a party of 5 and some of the food was 100 percent re heated/microwaved. (No reason a plain burrito plate would be scorching...

Our group of six gals having a cousins' luncheon had a great experience at Chuy's. The room we were in was spacious, the round table accommodated us well, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The background music meant it didn't matter if we got loud with our talking, laughing and reminiscing.
