Very disappointed the waitress’s are great but the food seems to gotten worse portions are smaller and costs have increased. Had breakfast here today the omelet was only cooked on the outside couldn’t even it.

Food was great. Service was a tad slow, but in all fairness we were there during a busy time. Decor is simple, true “home eatery” style. Our server was very friendly. Portions are huge, I ordered a sandwich with a soup and side salad and ended up taking the entire sandwich home. It was delicious as dinner later that night!

When I walked in I was acknowledged right away, and was asked where I would like to sit. There were approximately 6 tables of customers. Vivian was my server, she a did great job. There were 2 waitstaff helping 10 tables of customers. James was the manager. All 3 on the floor had great teamwork, great personality, strong work ethics, smart and had a positive attitude. I had a breakfast sand with frys. Both were good and you didn't feel they were being cheap on quality. I would recommend this for everyone.
Our time for breakfast at Goodys was immaculate. Fast service, kept checking on us with coffee refills, super friendly and delicious food. The place inside is clean and ample. It's night time now and all I can do is think about going back for breakfast!

Editing to say that 3 years later the food has gone down hill. The breakfast potatoes and eggs have no flavor at all. I’ve tried them plain and in skillets and end up taking the food home for my dog. The coffee is not good either. I hope they can improve on the basics.

Stopped in for breakfast and ordered The Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. I was extremely disappointed. The CFS was more breading than meat. Overpriced and the portions were small. When you spend over $20 for breakfast and coffee you expect to leave with a full belly. Didn’t happen unfortunately. Service and Staff were great though. I won’t be returning.

So first off I ordered a hot coffee and while putting the creamer they had on the table in my coffee I noticed it was thick, chunky and moldy so I had to get a new coffee so be careful and check creamer before pouring it into your coffee. Secondly I ordered The Hungry Man which was ok at best the hash browns were so bland and looked barley cooked no good. Also the biscuits and gravy were lacking a lot of flavor. I also had pancakes which were not the greatest but not the worst just mediocre. I don't recommend this place this was my first and last time coming here.
