GQue is, without a doubt, the best BBQ I've ever had! The brisket was unbelievably tender and flavorful, practically melting in my mouth. Their sides were also incredible, especially the mac and cheese. I highly recommend checking this place out; you won't be disappointed! Everything was perfect.

My family and I have eaten here several times, and ever since the first time it’s always been exceptional. The food is always fresh, very well cooked, and is always ready pretty fast. The dining area is always clean and everyone is always very nice and smiling when you go in. I’ve recommended this place to lots of people who live in the area. Great food, staff and awesome place for lunch/dinner. Highly recommend anything off the menu, never disappointed.

I thought this was a national or regional chain restaurant based on the packaging. It’s kinda like Buffalo Wild Wings meets Dickey’s. Neither of those are good. By the way, do they smoke the meats at this location or bring them in??
The positive - the line was short and the food was ready quickly.
The challenges - I ordered a variety of meats and sides. I ordered a 1/2 lb of brisket. No one asked me if I wanted lean vs. moist. #1 indicator it isn’t a ‘real’ bbq joint. If I got an actual 1/2 lb I would be surprised. Cuts seemed meager and it was so fatty I almost couldn’t eat it. It was mushy, almost like it was boiled. I also got the ribs. They were of a good cut with good meat on them. The flavor was average. Both meats tasted like ‘corporate BBQ’ (I.e. Dickeys) and didn’t have much smoke on it. The dry rub was plain and uninspiring. No rizz. Both were packaged together in a PLASTIC container, no paper. No pickles or onions anywhere to be found- #2 and #3 indicators it isn’t a ‘real’ bbq joint. The green beans were plain, but good. The mashed potatoes and gravy were decent. Both were lacking spice and flavor but were ok.
I looked up GQue and where they were from and other locations, etc. After finding out they serve this at the stadiums it makes more sense. This is basically the BBQ equivalent of a Rockies hot dog.
Yes I’m a BBQ snob. Yes my family has roots in the Austin TX area so I compare every BBQ that’s here to there. Maybe it’s not fair. But BBQ is expensive, and I want something worth it. GQue is a decent neighborhood place if you have the hankering for BBQ. But I wouldn’t recommend as a destination experience.

Best BBQ in Colorado! We’re lucky to have it nearby to stop by for a quick bite or to pick-up for dinner. We’ve also ordered catering for Super Bowl and graduation parties. The pulled pork sandwiches, tender brisket and baked beans are superb…you can’t go wrong with good service and delicious food!

I’ve been here several times since they opened, and for a lot of that time, it’s been Grade A quality. That’s definitely not the case within the last year or so.

Today, I ordered half a pound of turkey and a pound of brisket, with a side of mac and cheese and paid almost $72. When we got home, the brisket was MOSTLY fat. I’m talking 80% fat to 20% edible meat.

The turkey was a little dry, but good. So was the mac. But you really can’t be charging these kinds of prices with this level of quality. It’s not right. I honestly won’t be back for a while until quality gets sorted out and prices come down.

We've been going here monthly and honestly, it seems to be going down. The portions seem smaller (really small wings with our last order). Service is still wonderful, but the value is declining, at least in my most recent experience based on the last 3 visits.

The main fair, the BBQ, is amazing. The side portions however are embarrassingly small for the cost. Stick to the sandwiches, they are worth the cost while the sides are not even close.

Best BBQ in town. The pull pork with the apple slaw on it is the best sandwich I ever had.

Fries taste awful! Too greasy, taste funky and way over salted! Wings were fantastic though, loved them!!
