My husband and I truly enjoyed every part of our experience. The food was delicious, the owner was friendly, the staff was professional. Can't wait to go again.

One of the bartenders (female) seemed as if we were a burden. The manager's son was very personable, but I got the feeling that he wasn't supposed to wait on us, which I completely understand. We had to keep asking the (female) bartender to take our order. Maybe we weren't supposed to order food at the bar??

The beef tartare was dark brown and bone marrow was bright red. The halibut was way over cooked and had no flavor. The fries were old and soggy. Whoever is on the the grill doesn’t know how to baste or sear a steak, my NY strip was really tough and not juicy (medium rare). Lobster tails were flavorless and rubbery. The waitress wanted to take our drink, appetizer, and main course order all at once within a few minutes of sitting down. I said we’re trying to enjoy our time and she must have heard “please give us the slowest service imaginable”. We waited for a half hour for the appetizer and over a half hour after that for our main course. The plates were scolding hot when our food was served which means it’s been sitting under a heat lamp for a good amount of time.
The bread was good though!

I ordered medium rare and got medium well. Couldn't catch a server to get corrected. But it was still an exceptional filet! I enjoyed it more than I thought i would.

Our experience was wonderful. The hospitality was first class, the steak and seafood were fantastic, and atmosphere was great. Their drinks are over the top. I ordered and real Gin Sour and they had no eggs, within 10 minutes they sent a person out to get eggs and delivered a wonderful Gin Sour. I will be back. Best Steakhouse in Westminster!!!!

Had a wonderful dinner with clients. Had the 8oz Filet with Brussel sprouts and the shrimp and bruschetta apps as well with garlic. Amazing.

Ate outside on the patio with my dogs. The staff was super friendly and brought water and some leftover scraps for the dogs. Owner came out repeatedly to check that everything was going well

We had a 5:30 reservation and were warmly greeted. Our server, Dean, started attentive—drinks and appetizers (mussels, oysters, and bruschetta) came quickly. But once the apps landed, everything went downhill.
Dean never returned to check on our food—no “two-minute, two-bite” courtesy. Dirty plates sat for 20+ minutes. The restaurant had only seven tables seated, five servers working, plus the GM, Abe. There was no reason for this neglect.
We ordered entrées midway through appetizers: short ribs, bourbon chicken, lobster risotto, and surf & turf. Twenty minutes later, Dean told us the lobster tail was no longer available because another table got the last one. Why wasn’t our order put in right away?
I had to choose a new dish—the Norwegian salmon—which I didn’t want. It took another 45 minutes for entrées to arrive. Two were decent. Two—including mine—were not. My salmon was dry, underseasoned, and poorly plated. The sides were equally disappointing: bland couscous, gelatinous squash purée, and an undressed pile of arugula. I took two bites and pushed it aside.
The risotto lacked seasoning, depth, and lobster. No Parmesan offered. No pairing sides like bread or asparagus. Dean vanished entirely. We had to ask Abe what was in the salmon rub. “Salt, pepper, paprika,” he said. When asked about the risotto, he shrugged: “To each their own.”
That tone set the tone. My husband, an executive chef, was floored by the lack of care, execution, and hospitality. If anyone should raise a red flag, it’s him—and he did.
This was a missed opportunity for the GM to step in and fix the situation. Instead, we got indifference. Abe comped the salmon but offered no further recovery.
They claim on their website:
“Great food. Great service… fine dining with the comfort of home.”
In reality? Rushed plating, inattentive service, and disorganized leadership. They also advertise “fresh seafood flown in daily”—but couldn’t serve lobster tail while still serving lobster risotto?
And don’t trust the online menu—it didn’t match what we received at the table.
If Nate and Kristen Lawrence want this to be a real chophouse, they should dine at Shanahan’s, Elway’s, Denver Chophouse, or the Chart House. Those restaurants know what excellence looks like. They don’t have middle-schoolers plating the food.
Until major changes are made, I can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone who values their dining experience.

Dean was our server. He could’ve cared less about our table.
Reservation was for 530 table was ready. We were greeted with happy faces and enthusiasm, but that was about the highlight of our visit.
After ordering, 20 minutes later were informed my wife couldn’t get the surf and turf because the last lobster tail was already sold. If our order was put in quickly, the count in the computer would have indicated lobster tail was 86’d. Instead our server informed us 20 minutes later.
After speaking with Abe the child “manager” he said since you can only see this side of the restaurant I might not understand how busy Dean is.
This establishment has six tables sat in the two hours we were there. Staff better or train the people you have. I felt like I was dining in the middle of a college dating show. Not an adult institution. Who left these children in charge is the real question????
I requested a Gm phone number or email. Abe said he is the one in charge. This 24 year old kid can’t be the one running this establishment. Either he is a liar and didn’t want to get in trouble or someone has really allowed this clueless young man to diminish what’s should be a sterling product.
A $400 bill for a very underwhelming experience.
The teenagers that work at my country club are more educated and professional than what my family just suffered through.
Don’t expect good service on a Sunday night go somewhere else!!!!!

I’ve given Law’s Chophouse a fair shot—multiple visits now—but after my most recent experience, I won’t be going back. While the service has consistently been kind (shoutout to the bartender, who’s always great), the food quality and pricing are completely out of sync.
Tonight was my worst experience. I ordered the Hawaiian steak frites with chimichurri sauce instead of the pineapple gremolata. The menu listed it at $57, but I was charged $79 for the steak alone—and then another $15 for the fries. That’s a $94 plate for one person before tax and tip. For that kind of price, you’d expect something memorable. Instead, the steak came out way overcooked—closer to well-done than the medium rare I ordered—and a good portion of it was just charred fat. The chimichurri sauce was forgettable, and the fries were nothing special.
The Caesar salad was also a miss—lukewarm, with wilted lettuce that tasted like it had been sitting too long. My first 3 visits, I thought it was an incredible Caesar. I decided to give dessert a try and took home a crème brûlée, which ended up being gritty, bitter, and just plain off. Not even salvageable. It shouldn’t be served to-go in that condition—sloppily packaged, poorly bruléed, and clearly not meant to hold up outside the restaurant.
The manager did offer a discount on just the steak after I voiced the issue with the steak, but it still felt like an overpriced and underwhelming meal. Bottom line: when one person’s dinner hits triple digits ($146) and the food is this inconsistent, it’s just not worth it. I genuinely wanted to like this place, but Law’s has lost me for good.

Service was poor, complementary bread did not arrive until more than halfway through the meal. The server was inattentive. We had The Best Cut Tartare, which was quite good but the lack of toast points is an oversite by the kitchen. Had to ask for additional, which could have been supplemented by the bread had it arrived before hand. The Hawaiian Steak Frites was disappointing, served with lackluster French fries and ketchup. Really? A whole range of sauces and ketchup?? Such a disappointment. Many many restaurants will treat you better and put thought into their menu, do your self a favor and skip this one.

Service was good. Staff was very young and didn't promote a more sophisticated classy atmosphere that the prices suggest. Law's Whiskey Old Fashion was delicious. Surf and Turf was cold upon delivery both 6oz Tenderloin and 4 oz S African Lobster. I dont believe this place is worth the price per meal. I ate ate Johnnys Italian Steakhouse the previous night and would recommend that place over Laws Chophouse anyway. Plus what kind of chophouse doesn't have a tomahawk steak?

The overall experience I rated fair because the drinks and appetizers were very good, however the meals were lackluster. The lobster risotto was bland and had very few tiny pieces of lobster and for an above $50.00 entree I expected lumps of lobster and tons of flavor instead of tasting like bland porridge. The Salmon a little better but also not seasoned adequately. The Ribeye steak was the best entree at our table. Cooked at the right temp and packed full of flavor. It wasn't a total bust, but we did lament that for a final bill well over $300.00 we maybe should have stuck with a place we know to have great food and not try a new spot. Cute place and I really hope they get their kitchen to do better.
