Unwelcoming, curt staff. They tried to seat our group of 8 with two strangers, which would’ve put some of us behind the chef, ruining the hibachi experience. The waitress was pushy and rushed us, and the chef lacked interaction and showmanship. Mt. Fuji in Louisville is far better in food, prices and atmosphere.

My family and I have been going to this location for several years now. Last night we went to this location for my husband‘s birthday dinner and honestly did not enjoy our experience like we usually do. Our server was amazing and very attentive! However, the chef was not great. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name, but he was the Hispanic cook for this location and we’ve never had him as a cook before. When he came to our table, he noticed that the table next to us who had just been seated, were familiar faces and told them that he would be with them soon after he finished with our table. Mind you, he hadn’t even started cooking for our table. When I tell you, this chef cooked so fast, it was upsetting because half of the food was cold because he was just trying to cook through so that he could cook for the other table. He was also incredibly rude. He was in such a rush that he was making messes all over our table and pretty much just throwing the food onto our plates. When it was time for him to serve the vegetables, he kept aggressively telling me to lift my plate, even though he could see that I was trying to deal with my one year-old And he could’ve easily gone to the next plate and came back to me. Once our meal was finished (meats were cold) Then he rushed to the back and came back out for the other table with a new cart and was talking and laughing with them. We were there still quite some time while we ate our food and watched him serve the table across from us. He cooked at a regular pace and put on a show for them. It was upsetting since this was a birthday dinner and we’ve never experienced this at this location before. Honestly, if the restaurant didn’t already charge a 19% tip, then we would not have a tipped the chef and would have only tipped the server.

Horrible service.!! When someone places a order you should for 1 be able to understand what there ordering if your taking a order!! Rolling your eyes ain't to customer friendly. And if dont like your job find something else.!! And clean up your restaurant. Looks so dirrty!

It was alright, the food was really good and the chef was amazing. I dont think the setting is my type of thing. The heat was so strong and all the smoke was coming to my direction. I left the place drenched in sweat and I dont sweat that easily.

We were a party of 10 I made a reservation ahead of time. Had family members from out of state and family members from out of country visiting. Our reservation was 6:30. 8pm comes and we still do not have food or a chef coming. Tables that were sat after us were helped before us. This was terrible experience for first timers who are visiting. We ended up leaving without eating. Staff wasn’t nice. Server attempted to make excuses. Some other guy probably was in charge was laughing and did not care. For sure will not be coming here again or bringing guests whatsoever

Had reservations for near a window. Wouldn't seat us until everyone was there. Instead of the reserved window, we were back with the dirty fire equipment. Table wasn't cleaned from previous customers. The hallway to the bathroom was terribly filthy. They are understaffed; had to wait for the chef.

Hate giving this place such a low rating, but it was low key Chuckie Cheese for adults. Cleanliness is a 1, tops. Attitude of employees not much higher.

Excellent hibachi. Only one minor complaint I wish they had hibachi mustard instead of the white sauce but that seems rare anywhere these days.

I think they really ought to give the place a new paint job. I think they'd avoid a lot of bad reviews.

My family and I went to Mt Fuji to celebrate a birthday, it was extremely loud in there which really fine but the food service was awful 😞 the food was prepared in front of us but was uncooked noodles were just soggy and scallops were also not cooked it seemed like our preparer was in a hurry. Didn’t get any pre dishes such as soup salad until our food was cooked drinks were not gotten 30 minutes in won’t be going there again after the amount of money we spent.

I love the comfort of this restaurant, and having your dish cooked in front of you is the best. The only thing I didn't like was that we had to wait an hour and 20 minutes to eat. We arrived first and had to wait an hour until more people arrived and the table was full before they could start cooking the food. The chef started cooking for the people who arrived after us and ended up cooking for us. We had to eat quickly because we had movie tickets, and the movie was about to start. That was the only thing I didn't like, but overall, everything was good.

Don’t bother making a reservation, they won’t even look at it or take your name or the # in your party. Rude host just told us to sit in line. No service at the bar either. We left after 20 minutes of being competely ignored.

Quality and service was great. I highly recommend to get an itemized receipt before leaving a tip. Every time we have done which has been probably 10 times we always just leave a tip on the receipt, however they automatically leave themselves a 20% tip that is included in your bill that you do not see, so if you tip 15% they are actually collecting 35% tip.. Everything is great about this place, besides the tipping.

You can tell the management of this place gives ZERO Fs about the space. It's soooo rundown. Big gashes in the walls, chairs with peeling seat upholstery. A message on an erasable board above the bar that was dated 2021 😂. The host staff apparel all looked like they rolled out of bed and over to work in their oversized tshirts, pajama pants and Crocs - are those even allowed per health code 🤔.
Server was friendly but a big reason you go to a hibachi place is the fun interaction with the chef. The chef we had - no fun or personality at all...just cook and move on to next table.

Drive a little further and go to Benihana in Broomfield by the mall. A much cleaner and nicer atmosphere.
