Hands down, my absolute favorite place! Best drinks (rye old fashioned, whiskey sour!), the best foods (savory pie! pecan pie!), the best music (blues, local bands), and the best atmosphere (a welcoming dance floor and a friendly owner). It even has a secret door to a reading room full of old books (for introverts), and then a private bar that is tucked away, like Narnia, but for adults. Service is generous and thoughtful every time. Walked in at 7pm on a Tuesday evening, only 2 other people/customers in the place. Asked for a house cabernet--after bartender went to visit w someone (staff?) for 10 min, he returned w a 6-pack of canned wine ..lol. Ordered the appetizer of fries and green chili. Wouldn't order that again--was cool to the touch. I can see why there were only 2 other people in the place. Don't this place will survive, sadly.
