Hands down the best burrito place in Colorado!
I’ve been coming here for many years — all the way back when it was Big City Burrito — and it’s always been my favorite. The food is consistently amazing, and I’d 100% franchise one of these locations someday.
If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to take a page from the Jersey Mike’s / MOD Pizza playbook and continue modernizing the customer experience. An updated rewards program, stronger branding, and more community events would take Renegade to the next level. A catering setup similar to Jersey Mike’s—offering assorted half-burritos—would be a game changer for offices, teams, and events. And refreshing the rewards system would really help; right now, you can visit 100 times and not receive much in return.
Other than that, this place is fantastic, and I’ll keep coming back.
My go-to order: Jalapeño tortilla, cheese, extra potatoes, bacon only, mild green, mild pico, guacamole, and ranch.

This is a fantastic choice when you are looking for a delicious burrito (and all around Mexican fare) in the Denver area! We hosted an event for our community, and they went ALL OUT! We had steak and chicken with peppers, rice, beans, pico and sour cream. Our residents absolutely LOVED it, and we will definitely be using them again for future events and dinners for our family. Enjoy!

I have been purchasing breakfast here for over a year. Today the door dash order was entered incorrectly, as the buy two for one deal, only quantity 1 was chosen. I noticed the mistake SECONDS after the order was placed. Doordash wouldn't allow me to edit the order so i could receive two for one burritos. I called the store and they offered no second burrito and door dash wouldnt let me edit or cancel. When picking up and i again explained they offered no second burrito, no coupon, no sorry, just handed me the solo burrito. You got my money. But lost my business with the apathy they served me.

Do not eat here! Girl that is rolling the burritos has an open cut and was showing the other worker! Disgusting 🤮

It's more how long it takes to arrive than to be attended to what you are going to select to eat, I don't think I have any excuses to complain, I can't find any.

We order weekly from this restaurant and 9 times our of 10 something is missing. They don't read the orders properly and the notes are never read. Please train your staff! Such a disappointment

I was the fourth customer in line and waited nearly 20 minutes from start to finish. They are way too focused on online orders and not the customers in the store. By the time I left, the line was well past the door.
Good burritos, but not worth the wait.
Edit: The “pro tip” left basically confirms my review: online orders are more important than the customers in line. They also don’t have a dedicated line for online orders. The employees were making the online orders in the same line as the one for customers in the store.

Just ordered cilantro lime rice and black beans, it was super bland; absolutely no flavor.

I've been eating here since it opened as a Big City Burrito, and I used to live in Ft Collins where the original place is, and even when it became Renegade I was happy because the menu didn't change much. However, in the past year or so, I'm not sure what has happened but the ingredients taste so watered down now, either that or they're not seasoned anymore. The grilled onions used to be brined in coca cola to sweeten them, now they just tast like an onion, not caramelized at all. Their ranch no longer has that kick it used to, it tastes very watered down...the green hot sauce is hardly noticeable. Their veggies used to have a seasoning on them, now that is gone. Every time I eat here and at the Thornton location as well, I'm just disappointed. I suppose to a customer who doesnt know the way the food used to taste, its not noticeable. But i can definitely see that the quality and flavor of the ingredients has plummeted in recent times.... to the point where I'd just rather spend my money elsewhere.
