Always a pleasure to go here, the food is great, service has always been good and the change of decorations for the seasons always adds to the atmosphere of the place.
Kid-friendliness: Strongly recommend to give it a try and they always have a child activity to keep the young kids busy when waiting for the food. Very family friendly.

A hidden gem! The Poor Man’s steak plate was perfectly seasoned (a little spicy) and the Pozole was the best I’ve had in Colorado. This is a little family owned place and the decor is cute.

I have been searching for a good breakfast burrito in this area for months, and my search continues. The girl who took our order was very nice. The burritos were not marked, so I didn't know which was which without tearing them open. They were overstuffed so handheld became pick apart with fingers. The chorizo was super salty and vinegar tasting, and not hot at all. The one burrito we ordered smothered was supposed to have ham and sausage, but instead had bacon and sausage, the one plus is that there was lots of meat and green chile. We ordered one handheld burrito with no green chile but they all had it, albeit not very much. Not a good first impression, and we won't be returning to try again.

Their food was OK, but nothing special.
The margaritas had absolutely no flavor... more like watered down lime water with no indication of any alcohol (normally a couple sips I can feel it) I decided to try a flavored margarita next and it was the same watered down version with so much raspberry syrup in it that it was too sweet to drink. Plus a burrito and 2 awful margaritas was $45.00. Don't waste your money on this place.

Fantastic authentic food and killer service from a family run operation with true historic roots in Mexico. Awesome food served in a really nice atmosphere by folks who love what they’re doing and take pride in doing it right!!! Al, your wife is running a phenomenal restaurant and I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed talking with you and thanks for sharing your story!

We were looking for a breakfast place and ended up going here and that was the best thing that could have happened!! The food was excellent the service was excellent everything was great!! This place should have a line out the door! We were served fresh tortillas as we sat down. The green chili was great! Everything had great flavor. We will be making this a place to go every time we come to Denver!
