My husband and I had our first visit today at the Saltgrass! My husband loved the beef brisket. I had the grilled chicken breast snd mashed potatoes which were absolutely delicious! The carrot cake was wonderful. And the bread was amazing! I had the Pomegranate Mojito which was tasty. Our server was so nice and really took time to help us with the menu. We will be going back very soon. I highly recommend this restaurant!

In Short... Sadly, I can no longer recommend this restaurant. I feel this restaurant is no longer managed properly. Mismanaged operation and rude and overwhelmed wait-staff. The steaks are still good. But with bad service, you end up leaving with a bad experience and a bad taste in your mouth – especially, when you pay top dollar to eat here.
in Length... Being a Landry’s Select Club member for more than fifteen years, I’ve been to this restaurant a few times, and have had great experiences here – in the past. This restaurant’s atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The steaks here are really good and fairly priced. The service used to be great but has eroded lately to sub-par service – as far as a service you’d expect from a steakhouse. Will I revisit this restaurant? It is a definite NO under the current management style! I feel this restaurant is no longer managed properly. The service we received was rude and awful. I’ve had better service at McDonalds! I thought it was only the waiter we had; however, the bar service too was very slow! We were there on a Tuesday evening. We (party of five) had to wait 35 minutes from the time we sat down before we got the attention of our waiter. When we finally got his attention, he was rude and snappy initially. He snapped at us and told us that he didn’t have our table, walked away, then a few minutes later retuned and said “I guess I have this table”. Despite him trying to make up and be half-friendly, it was all downhill from there. When we ordered our drinks, it took another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive! The steaks, on the other hand were still great and arrived at a reasonable timeframe! You can have the tastiest food but if the service is horrible, then it leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth – literally!

Worst service & food ever!! Haven't been in about 6 months because the last time we felt it was awful. Got even worse! I had a patty melt that was a burger stuck between two pieces of bread, didnt even smash it down. I could have gotten better food & service an IHop or Dennys. Steak was overcooked after we sat there for an hour before we even got our food. There were more empty tables than occupied ones. Won't ever go back!!
