The Grill at Legacy Ridge

Was in this week for a quiet breakfast and start to my morning. Great food and service. Great coffee and friemdly service.

The setting is beautiful. We came for the Easter Buffet, $40 adults, $20 kids. I reserved the buffet for 7 adults, 1 child. I had heard the food was really good, however, it was one of the most unpleasant meals I’ve had. The food was terribly under seasoned and had no flavor. The watermelon was mushy and tasted old as did the cooked veggies. The best thing on the buffet was the muffins and danish! My grandson ordered apple juice. When the waitress brought it, we thought it was fresh apple juice. However, when he tasted it, he have an awful face so we tried it only to find out it was grapefruit juice! We did get it replaced with apple juice. Then to ask for the bill, the waitress gave us her tablet with only a total on it. It showed $400+. So I paid the bill in cash, and gave the waitress a tip. Then I was talking to my daughter about the bill, 7 adults @$40, and 1 child @$20, which was $300! No special drinks - 1 apple juice, 2 cokes, and 6 waters.
So, I went to the bar to ask how they came up with over $400 and the lady at the bar said she’d get me a receipt. When she brought the receipt, she said it was because “gratuity” was automatically put on. When I told her that I gave the original waitress $80 for tip, she said she will refund the extra tip. The original waitress never told us that the gratuity was automatically added. Who would give $150 tip for a $300 buffet??? A server for a buffet requires minimal service, as the food is already out, no order taking, etc. I believe she knew that she got us as she never came back to the table and went out of her way to avoid eye contact with us! I fully believe in tipping but to be taken advantage of is another subject. This is why servers get a bad rap and she should have been relieved/fired on the spot! I don’t believe we will patronize the Legacy Grill again, very disappointed

This is a beautiful golf course & a good place to have breakfast or lunch. We come here most Sundays, & we love it when Lynn is out Waitress! She’s truly outstanding!!

Our waitress Lynn was OUTSTANDING . She checked in with us regularly and assured we had everything we need. It’s so good to see waitstaff from the prior company.

We come here every Friday with our family and neighborhood families and always have such a great time. Food has been great, and the staff is always attentive and kind. Love being a regular in my neighborhood!

AC will save your life during a heat stroke. 5 stars, would definitely fight off a heat stroke there again.

The bar area literally smells like vomit and is covered in flies. Hard to enjoy anything when it smells that bad. The service was fantastic. The food was fine for the price. Nothing to write home about.

Sydney was very helpful and friendly. Food was great and tasty at Breakfast. Good portions. Lots of golf discounts for kids. Will be back!

I held my retirement party here in their banquet room which can be completely partitioned off from the restaurant part of the room. The event planner, Sydni, was awesome to work with and very responsive to all my emails of questions leading up to my party. We served appetizers which they have a large assortment of and everything was beautifully presented plus tasted great. Some of the attendees spilled onto the outer patio and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. All of my family and friends thought it was a perfect place to hold the party.

Definitely try this great place. We found the food and menu SO much better than before. The food was so delicious !!! We had fish and chips, braised beef tacos, and the BLT. The appetizers of chips/dip and pretzels/cheese were huge and we gobbled them. We looked out the big windows at the gorgeous golf course framed by our awesome CO mountains !!!
