The Original Chubby's Mexican Food

Been going here for really long time. Tonight I ask for a side of cheese since my tostadas cheese is always stuck to the rapper it comes in they said we can’t do that. Then there like nevermind we can then I get charged 9dollars for the little side of cheese. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Love my fries, but they could use a lot more Chile on them "smothered" fries, last couple times fries have been pretty dry.

Came to this location 2 times now first time I ordered bean extra cheese special same thing I always order at other locations . Burrito comes out half cold no cheeses bland beans they did nothing to correct this , try it one more time same order again cold burrito bland beans no chili this time lol they said they have to charge for a whole new burrito to correct their mistake lol . But finally he at least brought me two sides of chili . Location is great but got to get folks orders right or correct mistake

So we have been going to Chubbys since I was a kid. This particular time we ordered 3 chile cheese fries , 1 beef and bean special , 3 tacos and 2 green chile chicken enchiladas with chicharone deluxe. Well the first enchilada plate was made with red which had to be remade, then they remade it and forgot the chicharone which I asked to not forgot. But it was too late because we had left to take my mom the food at the hospital. Then the salsa for the tacos was basically canned tomatoes no spice whatsoever. Very frustrating. For tge price we pay get it right.

Ordered a beef special burrito and got a bean burrito again. This is the 3rd time they have done this after repeating my order and still getting it wrong. Got home and noticed this. Just had a procedure done today so couldn't just come back and get it fixed. Called them and told them my wife was bringing back the burrito and asked if I had my receipt after she raddled off my order, she says you ordered the beef special burrito with the small chili cheese fries correct and told her yes. She said to bring back the burrito and the receipt, I let her know that I had thrown it away there and that she just raddled off my order. She said that she can not take this back because I didn't have my receipt. So my wife went back there and re-ordered my beef special burrito again and she said the same thing to my wife and then went over to a schedule with what my wife said looks like a boss there and re-told her the same conversation that she had with my wife saying it insultingly about what happened as if my wife couldn't hear her when she was right there. This is very unprofessional and they really need to get there stuff together because this will make me not want to come back to this location again.

Waited in line for 50 mins. While at the drivethru window one of the young food prepper was more worried about being on his phone with his food gloves on. Literally on his phone for over 10 mins while I waited at the window. After he was done with his personal life he proceeded to prep food with the same gloves.

Everything about this location sucks, I just ordered a burrito from here today and it was DISGUSTING! It was so bad that I tried to call them but there lines are always “busy”. Idk if it’s old steak or old greasy fries? I threw it in the garbage because it tasted that bad! Also it looks like they use the same spoon for all the different protein! Both staff and food here are awful! Last time I order anything from here. Oh and the horchata taste like dirty sink water

Requested extra chili on both large chili cheese fries and chicharrons on one and got very little of both. Also was charged extra for those "extras". Very disappointed on the outcome of the food when I got home.

I haven't been to this Chubby's in quite a while due to the fact of all the bad reviews and thought I'm going to try it out I went there and ordered chili cheese fries with chicharrones and when I got to the window the girl took my card process my order handed me my food and I was waiting for her to give me back my credit card and her and three other people were huddled up looking at their phones I had to honk my horn to get their attention and asked her for my card she hands me in my card I get home with my food the fries were dry the chicharrones were burnt the cheese wasn't melted horrible horrible order I will not ever return to this location and I advise anyone else that visits her to not order

I came here to get huevos rancheros, but didn't expect the attitude and expensive breakfast for $17.99. The young gal took my order and while taking the order she started talking to her coworker than tried to come back to me. She didn't acknowledge me at the window nor did she say a word or anything when I was leaving. She had a total attitude as I was already irritated which should of been no more than $12 for that plate. Won't be coming back!

Inside was nice and employees were nice.
But they skimp on the food will be going back to 74th or 38th.
Ordered ground beef on my fries got none.
Steak burritos 2 of them could have put them together to make 1 full one you get at the other 2. And been and beef burritos got bean and a couple bites of beef.
The flavor was good but for 60$ ill go where I get what I paid for.

Use to be a frequent visitor of this Chubby's location. When they first opened, it was great, actual to go containers and the food burritos were fantastic. Lately, the quality has dropped. Inconsistency with their green chili, sometimes it would be super spicy and other times just right. This time around, they got the wrong order, could be partly my fault for not confirming but if they were unsure, they should've asked. Anyways, won't be coming back to this location.
