Tried twice in 6 months. Hoped the first experience was a fluke, but after my second try, the food here seems to be consistently mediocre. Doesn't even compare to the authenticity of a place you might find on Pecos or Federal. Won't make the mistake of returning a third time. Money is better spent elsewhere.

This kind of place is my favorite go-to when I'm hungry. A small mom and pop mexican joint... Love it! The bacon breakfast burrito was good (especially with the hot salsa added, although the salsa could have been spicier, but I like to sweat when I eat spicy food, so there's that... Lol) and the tacos (steak) were delicious! I WILL be returning..... soon!
Maybe only come here for breakfast burritos. Anything else I’ve tried has been extremely disappointing (taco meat burnt to a crisp, relleno wrapped in a tortilla with the beans between…wth, little filling in the tamales, etc).

We stumbled across this place randomly, while running errands. We now eat here about once a month. The owners are awesome. They recognize us by face and always strike up conversation. Food is delicious. Their homemade salsa is a must.
