My husband and I both had the prime rib. Our prime rib came with 2 sides, we both chose mash potatoes and green bean. I wasn't a fan of the green beans because they had bacon and onion in them. Our server was kind enough to offer a replacement. I chose extra mash potatoes! YUM! Our food was delicious. The portions were large. The price was fair. The restaurant was clean. Overall, I highly recommend the Black Bear Diner!
The food was delicious and there was plenty!! The service was middle of the road though our waitress did have a good sense of humor. Unfortunately, food took awhile to arrive and things were missing.
Fast, friendly service! I came in at noon on a Saturday by myself and was immediately sat at the counter. The staff are great - so friendly! I felt welcome and really enjoyed myself. I got a coffee and a bear claw - loved the coffee and while the bear claw was good (loved the almond filling!), it tasted a bit stale.
