I had the Shanghai

Woody’s Wings and Things is a great example of why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. The outside and inside aren’t exactly fancy, but the food and service are absolutely fantastic!

They have a huge menu, and everything is cooked to order. I had the Pad Thai, and it was delicious. It was well-seasoned and a generous serving. My wife had the wings, and they were crispy and well-cooked.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop by and try Woody’s.

Atmosphere. Dated. Nice dated appearance I'd say. Looks back in time.

Service, they cover the basic needs . Just gotta wave them down.

I went 3 times and got their shrimp and lobster sauce lunch to start. Very very good Chinese they have. The lobster sauce I could tell is one of the best in this area if not the best. It was the right color and had everything in it. The rice was light yellow and usually in the Chinese world, the browner the fried rice the better but not here. This fried rice measures up in flavor.

I got Cambodian spicy soup 2nd which I liked. It was different but it had a more sour taste. Out of the 3 things I got it was my least favorite but still good if you never tried it and gotta get it out of your system.

Last but not least. Duck egg noodle soup. Besides when I had Nepalese noodles, this is one of the best Asian soups I've ever had. Many of them are good but this here is something you don't usually find and it had a wonderful flavor as well as the egg noodles.

Upon arrival you are given a menu with no pricing in it.. and since they don’t come check on you until you are ready to order we pulled up their website for pricing. Thought how reasonable it was. Ordered a bunch of things we heard were good, more than we needed to order but just to try and have leftovers. Food was mostly just okay. Probably still one of the better Chinese in Denver area. Egg rolls were decent. Fried shrimp was decent. All 3 specialty wing flavors were just okay, wouldn’t order again. Beef and broccoli wasn’t very good. Pork fried rice was pretty good and the vegetable lo mein was also good. I would come back just for those two items. Bill came and was a lot more than expected. Asked and then was told the website is not accurate. Hands me an updated paper menu. Would have been nice to have that with the other menu before ordering.

I just don’t care that all but one member of the service team is frigid cold and lacks any sort of hospitality … why ?… because the food is amazing … forget the American garbage and the chicken wings … go for the traditional Laotian fare and lace the heck up! Salt and pepper shrimp, salty fish rice, whole fried tamarind fish and the squid salad are standouts ! Get in there … the only legit southern Asian cuisine within 17 miles of Boulder Colorado.

No clue how this place is rated so high. They messed up my pickup order, their actual prices are way higher than online/photo menus. The fried rice was a joke - seemingly rice, eggs, peas and corn cooked separately then mixed together with no flavoring. Even the white rice was inconsistent and crunchy. Wings are good, though. Will not be back.

Drove all the way out here from Aurora and the place was closed.... on a Tuesday. What an odd day to he closed. I love this place-- we need Woodys on Tuesday too. I would really appreciate the consideration of doing so.

Went to their website to look at the menu before placing my to go order. When I showed up the total was $27 and not $15 which according to their website should be.

I told them it should only be $15 according to their website and they said “we don’t have a website, and the menu on there is outdated”

I said whatever and figured I’d try the food. Terrible. Super bland. No flavor. Will never be coming back here.

Love the wings hate the ketchup packet amount of ranch they gave me for a pound of wings. Then they tried to charge me 3 for a $1 when I asked for another.

This is a very authentic southeast Asian restaurant. You can grab your average Chinese American food here and be safe or you can experience real food from other countries. This is where my wife, who is from Thailand, likes to go eat so she can get the ‘real’ deal. And if she asks for HOT and I mean HOTTT and spicy she can get it here. Nice people and good prices.

Kid-friendliness: Yes plenty of kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: You can get a wheelchair in here but definitely not setup as this is an older shopping mall/mini mall style place.
