OMGEEEE I am in love with this place. I think the food is so flavorful, the staff are so kind each time I order. This is the only Chinese restaurant I will eat at
Very much worth the extra dollar. Not too expensive but very much worth it. BEST FOOD I've had compared to any other Chinese Food around this area. DELICIOUS!!! And very good Service. SO DELICIOUS!!! I won't go anywhere else for Chinese food!!!
Absolutely delicious, well priced, and exceptional customer service. Love this place! I had the chicken Singapore noodles and they’re as good as I’ve about ever had.
Sadly, the tray of general tso went to the garbage. There was almost zero chicken inside of very thick breading that acted like a sponge to the grease it was cooked in. Vegetables were a strange mix and I think the larger chunks were durian by the smell which was very unpleasant. VERY little flavor to the sauce, no spice whatsoever.
The best Chinese food EVER. visiting from Louisiana and fell in love. Sesame chicken, broccoli and beef absolutely delicious.
Never disappoints every dish I have gotten has been very good. It’s tastes very fresh. Customer service excellent.
I have had a lot of Chineese food in the north metro area - this is the freshest and best quality at an unbeatable price. I order from here twice a week. Love it
This place is my favorite restaurant place to go to for aromatic, authentic Chinese food. It is my goto comfort food that can cheer someone up after anything. Everyone is very nice here and the food is one of the best in the Princeton area!
First time I went here, I had some of the best orange chicken and wontons in recent memory. The rest of the food was only okay, but those 2 dishes really stood out.Second time I went here, every dish ordered had a strange and - for lack of a better word - musty taste to it. Ended up throwing out the whole $40 order and feeling moderately ill for the next day and a half.I'll give it 2 stars in hopes that it was an isolated incident, but I won't be going back for another try.
I think it's just a part of liking Asian food. You find that restaurant you like, and it becomes YOUR place. You invest yourself in it's well being like a football fan. (so far I haven't seen anyone wearing a jersey for a $1 scoop joint, but it could happen) Just like football fans, right about the time you make that big investment, like the custom painted orange and blue Ford Bronco, your team, your fav quarterback, change cities, and you feel the loss, like your best friend has moved to the furthest tip of South America, without a phone, without wifi. Or maybe it's just me. It seems like every time we find a good restaurant, it closes or changes hands (which messes everything up). Hot Wok is one of those places you'd love to be a fan of for 20-30 years. It occupies a small unassuming space with a few tables to dine in. I've never met anyone working there who wasn't pleasant and prompt in getting your order. And the shopping center it's in is easy to get in and out of, even during rush hour. I'd wear their jersey anytime! (if they had one)
Restaurantji Recommends
Okay so I have ordered from them twice in a row. Yesterday an today just to review. I will say that the food is pretty good. My issue would be that the combination lo mein both times only had 2 pieces of shrimp. BOTH TIMES. I have ordered from othe place where there food was just as good or better and they provide at least eight shrimps. So it's good but not amazing. And if you ask for something to be taken out of a specific order then it comes super empty.
Is it good? No.Is it bad? No.Would i recommend it to a friend? No.For the price you get a healthy sized meal but for each dish it just seems to miss the mark on quality.
I had the Tsao General Chicken... it tasted like it was fried in dirty old oil... the place smelled like dirty oil when I arrived to pick it up. I ate just a few bites and couldnt eat anymore and now my stomach hurts.
I love this restaurant! But I would definately suggest picking it up yourself. I have not had a l**** here. They make it so fast. Delivery is through a third party.
Always good! I haven't had anything I don't like yet and for a great price. My favorites have been Kung Pao and chicken fried rice
