“As an uncultured country boy, I had never heard of this kind of restaurant, but it was right across the road from my hotel so I gave it a go. I don't regret it in the least. I'm a big eater and I'm all about value when eating out. Its not often that I feel like the amount of food for the price is worth it, but it was at this place. The wait staff was very helpful, patient, and kind. I ordered more food a couple of times and they had it on my table within a couple minutes. It was a little overwhelming at first with all the stuff I had in front of me, but I figured it out pretty quick. If you have never eaten at a place like this and want to simplify it a little bit, just skip out on the hot pot option and go with the grill and sushi. I highly recommend eating here.“

“Really fun restaurant. The broths were delicious and the meat, veggies, tofu, seafood, noodles, etc were fresh and wonderful. Really good kimchee, too, and lots of sauces. All you can eat. Korean beer, soju, and wine available. Kdrama playing on screen! Too brightly lit on a Saturday evening - that's why I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere.“

“Soooo good! I crave this place weekly! I saw bad reviews about the beef hot pot but I thought it was delicious! The beef is supposed to be cooked prior and dipped in their house sauce. The house sauce is perfect for dipping and all the veggies and add ons in the hot pot were great. I can barely finish it every time because there’s so much so it’s two meals for me. Their Thai hot pot is also one of the my favs and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the owners are so sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend!“

“We love Kobe An and have been patrons going back 30 years since they were in Lakewood. Marco has done an amazing job with the new -er location and his staff is well trained. His newer sushi chefs are doing a fantastic job which leaves him free to focus more on the front of the house. We told him tonight that the sushi is the best it’s been in the 30 years we’ve been going to his restaurants. The hamachi and mussels were outstanding, as were the rolls and cocktails. The new Kobe An is the real deal.“
