Traveling for work, I found myself in wheat-ridge for 6 months. I was craving some sliced Italian deli meats and some Italian sweets and found this place nearby according to google. Omg I found heaven!Sliced my meat for me while I picked out some cannoli and pizzelle. Calabrisi was spicy good! My first visit with some friends who are regulars. I ordered a sausage and cheese sandwich. The bread was hearty enough to hold the sandwich and marina without getting soggy. The sausage patty had just the right spice. All in all, the best sausage sandwich I've had. The restaurant and Italian market was very clean and the counter and table staff acted like they actually enjoyed working there?. What a concept! Took home a canolli and slice of lemoncello cake that I've yet to taste.

Coming from a background with Mazzaro’s in St. Petersburg, FL and numerous Italian markets in Chicago and the east coast, Vinnola’s has the initial opportunity to be a terrific destination as a grocery and restaurant. The sandwich (panini) we had was very tasty and the team taking orders and preparing food seemed to be doing the best that can. On the grocery side, quite a bit to be desired. Meat case was very limited, as was the cheeses. We ordered biscotti after lunch and they were tasty, but again, limited range of flavors. Would love to see more fresh bakery (bread!!), olive oils, fresh olives, some produce, and see Vinnola’s step up its game to be a destination instead of just a stop along the way.Parking: Parking in front and side of the building was tough. Ended up parking in lot attached to the office building to the west.
