West 29th Restaurant & Bar

As always, a wonderful meal at West 29th! Love the new menu additions, everything was excellent.

The food and ambiance were wonderful. I messaged the restaurant twice in advance to let them know we were celebrating my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. I was pretty disappointed that they did nothing to celebrate this. Great place, but they don't go above and beyond for their customers.

Our server Aiden was delightful. He was attentive and friendly. When the rain became too troublesome, we were reseated inside. Our party was allowed to linger and visit, as we hadn't seen each other for awhile. West 29th is truly a wonderful place for community unity!

Food was good. They were out of a few things and told us the kitchen closed when we asked about dessert. There was hardly any one there. We asked if our party of six could eat on the patio but they wouldn't seat us outside. They put us at a table close to double doors and opened the doors which was nice.

Had a great meal with exceptional service while celebrating a birthday. Sadly our experience was cut short by rain, which we desperately need in Denver.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The wait service, I believe his name is Adian. Very professional! Never a rush. He was delightful! Then, came 2 perfectly boneless New York steak with a blue cheese crust, medium rare over asparagus and mashed potatoes. Every single bite was delicious! Juicy and (you just can't say “no” to the blue cheese) but you do not have to have it. I kept thinking the next bite cannot be as good as the first one but it was! We were sure we'd need a box to go, we did not! You will not be sorry! Make a reservation, they are always appreciated. 29th Restaurant Wheat Ridge

Great patio. Service great. Food is average. Not bad but nothing special. Had the fish. The burger. The veggie lasagne and linguine and clams. We skipped dessert.

I detest the 'back of house' charges. Set the price of the food that you need to cover your operating expenses. If you need more money to pay your employees - don't tack on a fee. Change the price of the food I am ordering. I usually tip 20%. I tipped 15 because you decided to add 3%. The hostess and staff were great. Our actual server was horrible. She left us initially waiting for 20 minutes. She didn't actually bring our food or clear the tables, or fill the water. The food was good - nothing spectacular. The location is right on a busy street and we sat outside. The weather was perfect, but inside may have been a better choice.

My friend's steak was very overcooked. The staff fixed the error, but it did take a while. They were very nice and accommodating.

We reserved a table on the patio, so it started off pretty rocky when the hostess got upset when she tried to seat us inside and we pushed back to sit outside as we had booked. She then put us out back by ourselves at a table that hadn't been cleaned and had spider webs all over it. Made us feel like we were in time out. The evening was rapidly saved though when we met our very friendly server and had a great meal. Split the mussels and the New York strip between the two of us. Was a good amount of food (took home left overs).

The food was good to very good which it always is, but they need to update their website menu, I was looking forward to their excellent fis and chips which is still on the website menu and not on the restaurant menu and when I asked the server he said it had not been on the menu for 4 or 5 months. Disappointment!

I've enjoyed 3 dinners at this bistro and it's fast becoming a favorite. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, indoor or outside on the patio. The menu features plenty of variety without being overwhelming. Every dish I've tried so far has been excellent, including evening specials and desserts. Staff and service is fantastic.

Sitting outside on a beautiful summer evening was terrific. Great staff and very good food.

Food was cold. Service was terrible. They didn’t e seem to care about my family experience. I will never go back.

Great place to have a relaxing dinner. Sat on the patio, very enjoyable. The wait staff is great, food is outstanding. Look forward to the next time we are there.
