The adorable patio was the draw for me and my cousin on this gorgeous evening. Our server was a 10/10 and I wish I could remember her name (she had a delicate chain across her nose). She was super helpful with recommendations and gifted with patron engagement. I also appreciated her guidance to a cocktail that wasn't too sweet (a tequila concoction with jalapenos). I had salmon with grilled asparagus and coconut rice. Salmon was cooked to perfection and topped with an excellent chili glaze. Asparagus was well prepared but could have used a more flavorful seasoning with the char. The rice was nice, but the coconut was too subtle for my preference. The Key Lime dessert was amazing!

This restaurant is a secret gem even though it has been here a while. My "go to" when we want a really good meal. Love the dark wood interior vibes as well as great outdoor seating. The food is excellent. Had the Salmon. And our server was spunky and attentive but not annoying - great evening out.
Very cozy atmosphere and nice staff across the board. Great family room feel for the main dining room and the outdoor space is quaint - one of the best patios!
Awesome mocktail menu and at reasonable prices rather than making them priced the same as alcoholic cocktails like most places do to rip you off.
Will definitely be frequenting this spot!

Not happy w how they handled our reservation, which was specifically for the patio which is the ONLY thing exceptional about this restaurant. We were stuck out in the back patio area which is loud & where we were virtually forgotten. The only reason we went there that evening (9/19/25)was To enjoy dining outside on the front patio (which is lovely) not for the insipid food & indifferent service. I'm OVER this place.

We have gone to this restaurant a number of times, it's local to us & the food while not exceptional was usually ok. It is never my 1st choice but it does have a lovely patio so when my friend suggested it for having one more outside dining evening in the waning summer I agreed. I made reservations online for 4 of us, specifically for the patio, later that day friends asked to join us, I called the restaurant, did not get to speak to a person but left a message that our party was to be 6 instead of 4 & reiterated we wanted the patio. When we arrived at the restaurant we found our friends, who had gotten there ahead of us seated in the stuffy large room they keep for...? I told them we had specifically requested the patio , they kept insisting they could not seat us in the patio, even though there was plenty of room(!) we told them the only reason we had come there that night was to enjoy having a meal on the patio. After too much wrangling they stuck us out on the back patio, not at all what we had come for & then semi ignored us. They have screwed up reservations twice before(!) I think I'm officially over them & their insipid food & service.

I've been going here for years and always enjoy the experience. This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant .One of my favorites is the pork chop, which is always perfectly cooked. I didn't care for the sauce that they're offering in their most current menu which changes seasonally. Nor did I much like the wedge salad. The dressing was a bit too acidity, and the fruit. The whole thing didn't really work. The burger is always fantastic. And the prices are reasonable.
The food is always good and cooked to perfection. The wine list is OUTSTANDING. The service is fast, respectful, and knowledgeable about the menu.
It's a great place to go with family. You can sit on the amazing patio or inside at one of their many tables (or the bar). There's a private room for larger groups.
I truly think this is the perfect neighborhood restaurant. In the age of every restaurant trying to get a Michelin star, this place roses above the rest by just doing food, drink, and ambiance to perfection.
I love this place.

Delicious entrees, very nice outdoor setting in a quiet neighborhood. Waitstaff was very friendly. Outdoor metal chairs could use some cushioning:). We will be back!
Cute place with great service but the food was lacking. The flatbread special with peaches was tasteless and burnt, the mussels were rancid, the corn ravioli was cold although tasty, the pasta and wedge salad were ok. Maybe an off night for the kitchen.

We had wanted to try this place for a while since we pass it all the time. I could not have been more disappointed. The service was slow and inattentive but friendly. We constantly had to flag our waiter down and went 30 minutes at times without seeing him. At one point someone from the table next to us went to find him and when he came to get their order he tried to rush past us without acknowledging that we were all out of drinks and trying to get his attention.
The food was awful. It took 45 minutes to come out. A steak order rare was cooked well done. Muscles were hit or miss. My ‘spaghetti’ was pale, slimy, and clumped together like it had been prepped bagged and frozen and then hurriedly microwave and dumped on my plate. Probably the worst spaghetti I’ve ever had. Nothing was great, some things were passable at best. To top off the night, I can generally eat anything and this place wrecked my stomach.

As always, a wonderful meal at West 29th! Love the new menu additions, everything was excellent.
The food and ambiance were wonderful. I messaged the restaurant twice in advance to let them know we were celebrating my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. I was pretty disappointed that they did nothing to celebrate this. Great place, but they don't go above and beyond for their customers.
Our server Aiden was delightful. He was attentive and friendly. When the rain became too troublesome, we were reseated inside. Our party was allowed to linger and visit, as we hadn't seen each other for awhile. West 29th is truly a wonderful place for community unity!
Food was good. They were out of a few things and told us the kitchen closed when we asked about dessert. There was hardly any one there. We asked if our party of six could eat on the patio but they wouldn't seat us outside. They put us at a table close to double doors and opened the doors which was nice.
