I grew up in the North side of Denver and live in Wheat Ridge. I have passed by this place many times and am sad I waited so long to dine here. This will definitely be a local go-to spot for us. My boyfriend and I dined in for his birthday on February 28th. We enjoyed every bit of our experience! To start we shared the truffle ravioli and calamari. The calamari was spicy which we were not expecting but we love spicy food so we were fine with it. The truffle ravioli took me back to our trip to Paris. For the main he ordered the salmon and I the pork chop. The pork chop was so tender and delicious. The sauce, potatoes and veggies that went along with it were all delicious as well. We shared the creme brûlée for dessert. Cocktails and breadsticks were great as well while we waited for our appetizers. Enjoyed the cozy, rustic vibe. We sat one table away from the fireplace. I don’t remember our server’s name unfortunately, he was a slender guy with glasses. He was great! Prompt, attentive and helpful. He even mentioned that they get the meat from the butcher across the street. Highly recommend West 29th, whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just want a little girls night out. This place is awesome. Can’t wait to come check out the patio when the weather allows so. Also we made a reservation, it was not that busy due to it being a Wednesday night but I would highly recommend since it is a smaller restaurant.

The best place to eat ever!!! Great amazing patio in the summer and a fireplace in the winter. What more could you ask for? And don't even get me started on the breadsticks!!!!

2nd time in - great atmosphere - great drinks but PLEASE SHOVEL THE SNOW ON THE SIDEWALK- very rude - we almost fell inside (wet) & outside when walking back to car.

Great service and food. It’s always a great meal at West 29th. The staff knows the menu. Have a great separate room for up to 10 people.

This restaurant remains one of our favorites. The food is consistently good, the ambiance is cozy and special, and our service was great. This is a great place to share with friends or take a date.

We really loved the food and our server, Bradley. 4 stars because we reserved a heated patio spot (& put a deposit down for it!) only to be seated inside with zero explanation for why the patio was closed.

First went to West 29th a number of years ago, thought it was a hidden gem. This last trip though was disappointing compared to that time. This was mediocrity all the way through. It was fine. Absolutely nothing was bad. But absolutely nothing was great. It was fine.

We've been coming here for years. We'll come here for many more. The regular menu is very well-executed. Theor wine selection and mixed drinks are top-notch. And they'll always make you feel like you're a regular, even if you only get there every couple of months.

Had a small business dinner here...from the service, to the food, to the environment, everything was enjoyable. Looked good on me for selecting the place and the quality of the restaurant made the price point worth it for work!

Not very informative or accommodating for food allergies. Not much on the menu can be dairy free. Server was not helpful at all. Didn't know much about what/how modifications could be made. I finally picked the pork chop which was overcooked - instead of medium rare it was medium well. And it was very dry because the apricot glaze did not come with it given it was made with dairy (why???). But I never was told it would not have the glaze ahead of time. Otherwise I would have picked something else. So I spent $35 on something that was not what I thought it was going to be and was not good. I also asked for a cocktail to be made into a mocktail. I was charged the full cocktail price. I asked her to adjust it and she had a weird look on her face (like oh was I supposed to order an alcohol free version?). I don't know if my drink had alcohol in it or not. But I did get a migraine after the meal which indicates it could very well have had alcohol in it - which I am allergic to. My friend ordered Brussels sprouts instead of broccolini, but it came with broccolini. Bottom line is you cannot trust this place if you have food sensitivities/allergies. Best go somewhere else.

The welcoming and intimate ambiance along with great food-calamari, clam chowder, eggplant parm, beef stroganoff. Our server was kind and capable! We enjoyed a wonderful evening on a cold winter night!

My husband ordered the Creamy Chicken Pasta and I ordered the Ratatouille Lasagna, both were excellent! We sat next to the fire place in the main dining area to complete our cozy experience. West 29th is the perfect neighborhood go-to spot.

This experience was not as good as prior visits. The restaurant was unusually busy as it was NY Eve and the food and service weren't up to par. We will try again on a calmer night.

Very good cocktails, food, and service. The restaurant was busy, but everything came out quickly and exactly as ordered. Food is a little on the pricey side, especially for the size of portions, but I would still come back. The beef stroganoff with gorgonzola was delicious and the egg noodles tasted homemade!
