Hands down the best place to buy meat in the Denver area! Quality food with super helpful and knowledgeable butchers. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

My family and I participated in a special sale they recently had on 5 lbs of ground beef. You had to order ahead and pick up at a later date. My Dad and Brother happen to have the same name. When I took my dad in to pick up his part he purchased we let them know that one was My brother and one was my dad's and my brother would be in later to pick his up. The person at the counter said OK sounds good and we left. My brother went in 2 days later to pick his up. The older bald guy at the counter decided that both had already been picked up. Telling him that he had already came in that. His brother must have already picked it up that he was lying that the meat wasn't his anymore. That both packages were picked up by us. It turned into a huge issue because he said Well there's 2 people with your name. And it looks like both already picked up. He continued to be rude even after my brother explained to him that him and my dad both have the same name that my dad had gone in the day before and picked up his and my brother was there to pick up his own. Mind you this was all paid for ahead of time. The guy behind the counter finally just took the meat put it on top of the counter and walked away and said nothing else. News flash for the staff. There is allot of cultures that name their kids after their fathers and in the future I would suggest a better way of keeping track of orders that were picked up and were not and working on your customer service skills of the people working your front end of your shop. We'll be sticking to other meat places after this incident it's sad cause we've come here for years.

I've seen their advertisements for a couple years on FB. It was/seemed inconvenient to go out of the way. I bought from them 2 weeks ago, still have plenty of meat and the quality is incomparable to what you get at the stores. This is my go-to place from now on. I'd give 10 stars if I could. I wish I had come to this place when I first heard about it.

The jalapeño cheese brats are out of this world delicious, and the chicken breasts are both fresh and affordable! The gentleman behind the counter (I didn't catch his name) was friendly and helpful as well. I will definitely visit them again!

My parents used to shop here when I was young. Life took hold and for a ton of reasons, we stopped. I got married and moved but we started coming and I’ll never get meat from any other place now. The difference is noticeable! I’ll recommend this place every time.

If you are trying to eat local and responsibly raised meat, this is the spot! Their prices are more than fair (comparable to Soopers) for the noticeably greater quality. The owners and employees are helpful. They have all kinds of beef cuts, chicken breast, tons of different marinaded bacon, bit of local produce depending on the day, ect.

We absolutely LOVE this place!!! They have the best quality meat and the owners and employees are so incredibly helpful. We buy our meat from them exclusively and were feeding our dog their raw blend for about a year. I'm so disappointed to learn that they've discontinued the raw dog food program due to a few disgruntled customers. Our dog absolutely thrived on the food and it's such a bummer that they've discontinued it. I rarely write reviews on Google but wanted to take some time to come on here and praise Wheat Ridge Poultry and Meats for everything they do. We will continue to support them by purchasing our meat from here and hope that they decide to bring back the dog food program!!
