We want to love this place and it has potential. There are some amazing dishes. We've tried a number of times and it has just fallen flat. Seated and then fifteen minutes until we're acknowledged with a menu. Another fifteen minutes for a glass of wine. An hour twenty and food is just rolling out. Although we weren't in a hurry it felt like we were always waiting for the next thing.

Our "go to" restaurant and bar when we visit Winter Park. Very good food and great, personable service. As we were staying next door at the A frame cabins and enjoying some early Fall MTB riding, we chose to dine BOTH nights at the Grill. Great burgers on night 1. Great steaks on night 2. Great bar and a nice wine list.

Fantastic service—so good that we ordered 2 extra glasses of vino and “lingered” an hour or so after finishing our entrees. Cool mountain vibe. Food quality was excellent. We are heading back over tonight for a second experience. So far, this is my favorite dining experience in Winter Park.

As second home owners we love to see the expanding Winter Park dining scene. The A Frame grill is an outstanding addition to Winter Park dining. We ate on a very quiet night just after Labor Day, the service, food and drinks were top notch. We will definitely return and soon.

What a hidden gem! The tastes are exquisite and earlier reviews might reflect a learning curve that has been overcome. The happy hour menu must be below cost and the full menu reflects the high quality of the product you will be very competently served. It was slow when we were there and the Chef spent several minutes chatting with us. What a delight! We will come back again and again.

All I will say is we're never going back. We tipped the servers well but from the opening bell the restaurant was inattentive to us. They were incredibly busy and pressed into service two people with virtually no serving experience. We actually tipped one of the newbies separately. Our server did comp two glasses of wine but our food took inordinately long and wasn't worth my time. She worked exceedingly hard but was way overstretched. Either they overbooked reservations or they decided that the walk-in patio traffic mattered more. Colorado towns summer stays are down. I live here but I felt cheated. Maybe we were just the odd man out. I rely on Open Table to provide viable options and this one failed miserably.

**Incredible Riverside Dining Series Experience** The "Riverside Dining Series" provided an unforgettable experience, even after being relocated from its usual spot along the Fraser River to the picturesque porch at A-Frame Club due to potential weather concerns. The evening retained its magic, seamlessly transitioning to the new location. A beautiful community table was adorned with local flowers, and the benches were draped with sheerling, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all guests. The seven-course sushi and sake pairing was expertly guided by General Manager Karoline, Chef Yoni, and Spirits Expert Jenny. Sushi was prepared tableside for all 20 guests, adding an intimate and engaging element to the meal. Each dish was exceptional, with the standout being the "Happy Spoon"—a delicate scallop topped with foam and salmon roe. The pacing of the courses and the attentive service were flawless, making for an evening that truly exceeded expectations. If you have the opportunity to experience any special dining event at A Frame Club, (or just generally dine in the Grill) do it!

Four of us “retirees” enjoyed a lovely dinner at A-Frame Club. We ordered three (3) different meals - two orders of short ribs (outstanding and large portion), the duck pasta (outstanding) and the salmon. The salmon order had to be sent back (stone cold) and when received, our diner said it was good, but not special. Also ordered the Peak Puff Pastry dessert to share. Delicious! Adequate wine list and nice cocktail selection. The music is 2000s era (?) and was too loud for our preference. They were kind enough to turn it down at our request. Take a walk through the cute cabin accommodations while on site!

Dinner at The Grill at A-Frame Club was amazing. The atmosphere and food were great. We enjoyed interacting with the staff that served us. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We have been to the A-Frame Grill several times. On this Monday night it was very quiet. Cocktails were wonderful. Appetizers very nice. When we placed our entree orders we were told that the chicken dish would require one hour for preparation. The menu itself is very limited so this made it more difficult to make a selection. Two of us ordered the short ribs and two of us ordered the salmon. All meals were good, but we felt a bit cheated by the scarcity of selection. That being said we will undoubtedly return to the A-Frame Grill. It is a unique setting in Winter Park and the drinks are great!

Ambiance is great and staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the service was overall very slow and the food was nothing special. We had the ol' fashioned burger and duck pasta. The burgers had a different taste, almost vinegar like. Luckily the burgers were cheaper because of happy hour. But overall definitely not worth the money otherwise. I left still hungry.

had a wonderful creative dinner and great service from Dylan. Loved the overall vibe and decor of the restaurant. Peak Puff pastry was to dye for. Highly recommend starting with the French onion soup

What a fun place in winter park. The atmosphere, decor and food were amazing! And the drinks…especially the Smokin’ Hot Beats!! The food was all uniquely prepared, props to the chef! We had the Black Garlic Caesar for an appetizer. I’ve never seen a salad with charred leaves…amazing! We’ll be coming back!

My wife and I had dinner tonight at the A-Frame grill and it was amazing! The staff was super welcoming and very accommodating. We started with their cocktail special and I must say what they’re doing behind the bar there is next level. But beyond that, the meal was incredible. I don’t usually (ever) rave about a salad but their black garlic Caesar was over the top. The half chicken was a perfect palate pleaser of bbq heat and smoky rabe over hummus - very creative and a perfect blend of complimentary flavors. The wine list was small but very well chosen. When we got the bill we were further impressed by the value. We come to Winter Park several times a year and we will move this place to the top of our dinner rotation from now on. Best thing going in the valley. Period.

I say this with the caveat that I’m often disappointed when eating steak out.

The NY strip here was not good.
Mine came sliced into three separate parts for no reason I can think of other than the chef couldn’t get the temp right and had to give it 3 go’s.

My initial bite of the first section of this weirdly served steak was colder than my last bite of the last section. Additionally whatever that “demi glacé” is, (this is not demi glacé but perhaps some faux mushroom facsimile at best and not a good one”) is not bad but it’s certainly not good.

Generally good service, enjoyed the ambiance (other than it being very warm at the bar) but if I hadn’t been starving and the kitchen already closed I would have sent this back.

I regret not just doing so and ordering delivery.
