Big Trout Brewing Company

This is a very friendly and inviting brewery. We had Ryan and Brandon as our bartender's and both were very friendly and welcoming. For a very posh mountain ski town this place was very down to earth. Ohh yeah, the beer was very good as well. We had their Amarillo by Morning and their Raspberry Wheat. Both were excellent. I also tried their Mexican Lager and I enjoyed that. The brewery is easily accessible with a free parking garage right behind it. I would totally recommend this brewery over others in the area just because it is much more welcoming. If you are in the area, and you want a beer, go here.

For a brewery the beer is good and worth trying; particularly the Nut Brown ale and Kolsch. The service is routinely cheerful. The food, however, has slipped in quality quite a bit. I really want to like this place, but for the price I expect better. Go for the beer, but don't expect much from the food.

Awesome beer flights, really tasty food, and the nicest waitstaff hands down. Thank you for a wonderful memory during our visit!

We came here because we wanted full service with food, beer, and gluten free options for both.

After reading some reviews, we had somewhat low expectations. All I can say, is everything was amazing. The gluten free beer, the wings, the pizza, the Sammie's. . All superb!

Overpriced food.

The beer is the only thing worth coming here for — and even then, maybe just grab a growler to go.

Unfortunately, the service was some of the worst I’ve experienced at a brewery. Our server seemed far more attentive to the table of men next to us, bringing them waters without being asked — multiple times. When I asked for water, I was told I needed to go up to the bar to get it myself, even though beer and food orders were being taken at the table. That inconsistency felt more like attitude than policy.

The food was overpriced and underwhelming. Bland, uninspired, and definitely not worth what they’re charging.

It’s a shame, because the beer was actually very good — well-crafted and clearly the product of someone who knows what they’re doing. But service matters, and so does food if you’re going to have a full kitchen.

5 stars for Big Trout Brewing Company, the wings were fantastic, smoked then finished on the grill, the best way to do wings. My wife had the grilled cheese with apples & they peeled the apples for her. The beers were fantastic as well, had the Kolsch and the raspberry wheat. But the VERY BEST part of our visit was our server Em, she was beyond great!! I'd give her 10 stars if they were availabel! Check this place out & ask for Em, you won't be disappointed!

Solid Brewery experience- make sure Ryan helps you pick something that fits your palette. I love the #9 amber. The food and beer are top notch and we make a point to visit every opportunity we have in WP.
